Symbiosis Institute of Design has released the SEED 2026 dates online at sid.edu.in. Aspirants looking to apply for BDes programme can proceed online to fill the SEED application form 2026. The SEED 2026 application form has been released on August 1, 2025. Candidates to submit it before the SEES application form last date which is November 30, 2025. Successfully registered candidates will be issued with the SEED admit card. Symbiosis BDes admission 2026 are done based on the candidate’s performance in the SEED entrance exam. SEED 2026 will be conducted on January 11.

Symbiosis BDes Admission 2026 - Selection Process
Symbiosis BDes admission process 2026 is done on the basis of the marks obtained in the SEED entrance exam, which will be held on January 11. The students are advised to prepare for the Symbiosis BDes entrance exam 2026 by referring to the syllabus and exam pattern. No candidate is entitled to seek admission to SID without a valid SEED score. Validity of SEED score is for one year only.

Symbiosis B.Des Admission 2026: SEED Results
The Symbiosis design admission process require the students to have qualified the SEED entrance exam. The results of the online Symbiosis entrance exam for design will be made available on the official website as per the schedule. SEED result 2026 date is January 19.
Symbiosis Design Admission Process: Portfolio and Personal Interview Round
The students who want to take Symbiosis design admission must qualify the entrance exam. Qualifying the entrance exam will require the students to appear for the PRPI round. The PRPI round includes the portfolio review and personal interaction. The students will be required to upload their portfolio on the portal a day prior to the PRPI round. The students will be required to perform the task which will be shared 3 days prior to the date chosen for SEED PRPI. The students are required to upload this task on the portal a day prior to their date of PRPI. On the day of portfolio review and personal interaction the students need to appear online without fail.

Symbiosis BDes Admission Criteria 2026
The students who want to take the Symbiosis design admission 2026 must know about the eligibility criteria that they need to fulfill before taking admissions. SEED eligibility criteria is released along with the official brochure. To take admission in the Symbiosis Institute of Design the students must fulfill the Symbiosis B.Des admission eligibility:
The students must have passed 10 + 2 level of education, any stream such as Science, Commerce, Arts, etc, from any recognized board. The students can also have a 10 + 3 diploma approved by the State Board of Technical Education.
In case the student is appearing for the final exams of the minimum educational qualification he or she must be declared passed before June of the admission year.
Must have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (SC/ST-45%) from the minimum educational qualification.
Candidates having a Portfolio which is relevant will be preferred.
Must have a creative aptitude required for design education.

The students who want to take Symbiosis BDes admission need to appear for the SEED 2026 entrance exam. This Symbiosis entrance exam 2026 is called the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design or SEED. According to the SEED exam pattern, the Symbiosis entrance exam will be conducted as a proctored test. The duration of the exam will be 60 minutes in which the students need to answer 60 questions which could be MCQs, match the columns, fill in the blanks, image based, and comprehension based.
