Admit Card

The candidates must take a printout of the UCEED admit card, preferably coloured and be present at the test centres.

Identification Mark

The candidates must carry a valid identity proof along with the UCEED admit card to the test centres

  • Admit card of the board examination with a photo
  • College/ school identity card
  • Certificate from the school or college principal as mentioned in Appendix 1 of the UCEED information brochure
  • Driving licence/ Aadhar card/ Pan Card / Passport / Voter ID

Reporting Time

Hall entry and exit

After the UCEED admit card is downloaded, the candidates must check the UCEED exam start time. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre after the commencement of the exam. No candidate will also be allowed to leave the exam hall before the exam ends.

Provision of Blank sheet

Blank sheets will be made available to the candidates for the rough work. Candidates however have to submit the sheets to the invigilator before the exam of part A is over.

Drawing Materials

Candidates will have to carry their own stationery items such as pencil, sketch pen, colours and other drawing materials in a transparent packet only. Candidates are also allowed to carry a writing board of A4 size for their convenience. No candidate should exchange or borrow these items inside the examination hall.

Unfair Means

In case of any unfair means used by a candidate he or she will be disqualified from the examination.

Restricted Items

No electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, digital watches and calculators are allowed inside the examination centre.

I am interested in the B.Des course for 2026. I will try to crack an UCEED entrance exam. So how to improve my score out of 300 Mark's.

UCEED is a competitive exam for design aspirants, testing design aptitude, logical thinking, creativity, and visualisation skills. To improve your score out of 300, start by understanding the exam pattern—Part A (objective) and Part B (subjective). For Part A, practice reasoning, numerical aptitude, and environmental & social awareness questions. For Part B, focus on drawing, sketching, and presenting your ideas clearly. Solve past year UCEED papers and join online mock test series. Spend at least 2–3 hours daily practising creative problem-solving and sketching. Also, work on time management because the exam requires quick thinking.

I am 2006 december 20 born am i eligible for 2026 NID and UCEED exams?

Hello Akanksha,

For NID DAT 2026, your eligibility is established based on your born date as you are born on or after July 1st 2005. For UCEED 2026, your eligibility is dependent on your born date by category. You are eligible if you are OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category and born on or after October 1, 2001. If you are SC/ST/PwD category you must be born on or after October 1, 1996 in order to be eligible. Based on your born date of December 20th, 2006 for both NID DAT 2026 and UCEED 2026; you will be eligible.

what is the expected uceed cutoff for nsut bdes

Currently, NSUT does not offer a B.Des. program. However, other institutes like IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, and IIITDM Jabalpur offer B.Des. through UCEED.
