Hello students, On the official website of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, ceed.iitb.ac.in, prospective candidates can obtain the CEED mock exam. IIT Bombay will administer the CEED 2026 mock exam to students in order to familiarize them with the new format and to offer them a realistic preview of the real test.
CEED 2026 will be conducted tentatively in the month of January, 2026. The CEED 2026 mock test's Parts A and B will be available separately. Students will only be able to use the CEED 2026 sample test for practice, and they will need to wait at least thirty minutes to view Part B. Students are advised to take part in the CEED 2026 mock test to learn about the question pattern of the design entrance exam. By practicing the CEED M.Des test series, design aspirants will be able to strengthen their preparation levels.
Practicing the mock tests of CEED is one of the best preparation strategies suggested by toppers and experts to crack the exam with a good score. Solving the CEED mock test pdf will help candidates identify the areas they need to work on.
The login credentials will be already available to the students and they can start the CEED mock test by clicking on the ‘Sign in’ tab. Students will have to wait for at least 30 minutes for the CEED Part B mock test to start.
After clicking on the ‘sign in’ tab, the general instructions will be displayed on the screen. Read the instructions thoroughly and then click on the ‘Next’ tab.
Students are required to agree to the terms and conditions given in the description box before clicking the ‘I am ready to begin’ button.
Candidates will have to understand the question palette specified on the right side. Students will also see a clock displaying on the screen to show the time left for answering the questions.
Students will have the option to save and submit their response or clear it. Students can also mark a particular question and proceed to the next question to review later.
Students will have the opportunity to access their CEED question paper, instruction, and profile details.
To indicate the status of all the questions, they will be colored with different colors i.e. - Red color stands for unanswered questions, violet color means questions put for review, green shows answered questions, and white means questions not attempted by the candidates.
Aspiring students will have to go through the CEED 2026 exam pattern to know all the parameters of the exam. CEED exam pattern will include the format of the questions, marking scheme, exam mode, exam duration, and many more. Check the table below to know the CEED exam pattern.

Actually You'll be eligible for both years CEED 2025 & CEED 2026.
You can give CEED 2025 because during that time you'll be in your last year of graduation and you're eligible to give CEED EXAM while you're in your final year of graduation.
BUT remember one thing that if you are applying in 2026 you will be eligible for year 2027 session which will be loss of your one precious year so be careful and decide what you want.

Mdes is an excellent degree for creative people, and your job and compensation will improve as a result. You can, in fact, apply for MDES.
You must succeed in the CEED, an annual design entry test. The majority of Indian schools, including NITs and IITs, accept CEED scores as proof of eligibility for MDes.
A select few universities, like IIT Kanpur and IISC Bangalore , also accept GATE scores. Engineering students have a second opportunity to apply for MDes without having to submit a CEED score.
BE, BTech, BDes, or BArch with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50 percent (pass grades for SC/ST) are required.
GATE / CEED score (70 percent weighting) with an online design aptitude test and an interview make up the IISc Bangalore selection process (30 percent weightage).
