On the official website of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, ceed.iitb.ac.in, prospective candidates can obtain the mock tests for the Common Entrance Exam for Design mock exam. IIT Bombay will administer the CEED 2026 mock exam to students in order to familiarise them with the new format and to offer them a realistic preview of the real test.
CEED 2026 will be conducted on January 18, 2026. The CEED 2026 mock test's Parts A and B will be available separately. Students will only be able to use the CEED 2026 sample test for practice, and they will need to wait at least thirty minutes to view Part B.

CEED Mock Test 2026 Important Guidelines

Students are advised to take part in the CEED 2026 mock test to learn about the question pattern of the design entrance exam. By practicing the CEED M.Des test series, design aspirants will be able to strengthen their preparation levels.

Practicing the mock tests of CEED is one of the best preparation strategies suggested by toppers and experts to crack the exam with a good score. Solving the CEED mock test pdf will help candidates identify the areas they need to work on.

The login credentials will be already available to the students and they can start the CEED mock test by clicking on the ‘Sign in’ tab. Students will have to wait for at least 30 minutes for the CEED Part B mock test to start.

  • After clicking on the ‘sign in’ tab, the general instructions will be displayed on the screen. Read the instructions thoroughly and then click on the ‘Next’ tab.

  • Students are required to agree to the terms and conditions given in the description box before clicking the ‘I am ready to begin’ button.

  • Candidates will have to understand the question palette specified on the right side. Students will also see a clock displaying on the screen to show the time left for answering the questions.

  • Students will have the option to save and submit their response or clear it. Students can also mark a particular question and proceed to the next question to review later.

  • Students will have the opportunity to access their CEED question paper, instruction, and profile details.

  • To indicate the status of all the questions, they will be colored with different colors i.e. - Red color stands for unanswered questions, violet color means questions put for review, green shows answered questions, and white means questions not attempted by the candidates.

CEED Syllabus 2026

IIT Bombay will specify the CEED 2026 syllabus which will include all the topics from which the questions of the entrance test will be framed. Students will have to understand the concepts of the topics which are included in the CEED syllabus 2026. As per last year's analysis, the CEED syllabus for both Part A and Part B is given below.

While the CEED score is important, most of the institutes use full selection process that includes your CEED score(Part A and B), Portfolio and often an interview or studio tests.Your 6 years of experience, strong portfolio and relevant coursera certificates can add significant value during admission in IITDM, Srishti etc which consider the overall profile not just the rank.
