GLS DAT Exam 2027: Registration Date, Exam Date, Eligibility, Pattern, Preparation Tips

GLS University has notified the eligibility criteria for the GLS entrance exam 2027 on its official website. Candidates seeking B.Design or Integrated M.Design through GLS Institute of Design Admission 2027 are required to meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the institute. Candidates failing to meet GLS DAT 2027 eligibility criteria will be disqualified from the admission process.

• Candidates who completed Higher Secondary (10+2) from State Board/ CBSE/ ISCE/ IB or equivalent with minimum of 50 per cent marks are eligible to apply for the GLS Design Aptitude Test.
• For the Integrated M.Des course, students should hold an undergraduate degree. 
• There is no upper or lower age limit to appear in the GLS DAT exam.

GLS Institute of Design has opened the GLS DAT 2027 application form on September 2, 2026, in online mode. All interested candidates must complete the registration process and submit the GLS DAT application form before the deadline. To complete the registration process, students need to pay an amount of Rs 2000 as an application fee online.

To fill out the application form for GLS DAT 2027, applicants must follow the steps mentioned below.

•  Visit the official website of GLS Institute of Design -admission.glsuniversity.ac.in.
• Then, click on the Apply button under the Design tab
• It will redirect you to the GLS DAT application form page. Enter basic details such as name, email id, and mobile number, and generate login details
• Next, log in to the dashboard and fill out the GLS DAT exam application form.
• Pay the application fee of Rs. 2000/-
• Finally, submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.

Candidates planning to appear for GLS DAT need to check the GLS DAT exam pattern 2027 before starting their preparation. As per the GLS DAT exam pattern, candidates will be given two hours (120 minutes) to complete the GLS design entrance exam. • Focus on the syllabus: The GLS DAT syllabus is not specified by the GLS Institute of Design. However, the exam aims to assess a candidate's design ability. Questions asked will be based on Theme & Colour Inter-relationship, Mood, Colour Terminology, Colour, Pattern & Texture, Inspiration & Design Development, Colour Psychology & Optical Illusions, Elements & Principles of Design, etc.
• Work on time management skills: As the GLS DAT entrance exam will be conducted in both online and offline modes, candidates should manage their time according to their chosen mode. Candidates should have a proper strategy to attempt the GLS DAT question paper within the given time frame. Candidates will be able to check their GLS DAT result 2027 online that will be sent to the candidate's registered email ID. The GLS DAT result will be available in the form of a scorecard containing the marks obtained in the examination. Candidates also have to appear for a personal interview round.
