How to get a seat in NID?

In order to get a seat in NID colleges in India, candidates are required to appear and qualify the NID Design Aptitude Test. As per NID DAT exam date 2025, the NID Design Aptitude Test BDes Prelims will be conducted on January 5, 2025, while DAT Mains (BDes) will be held from April 26 to May 4. The NID admission 2025 process include the following steps:

Registration - To begin with, aspirants have to fill the online application form at admissions.nid.edu. During the NID DAT registration 2025, candidates have to submit their personal, academic details, upload documents and payment of fee.

Download admit card - NID issued the admit card to all the registered candidates. The NID DAT 2025 admit card will be made available in online mode at the official website. Only those candidates who carry the NID admit card at the exam centre will be allowed to appear for the NID entrance exam 2024.

Appear for exam - Next, candidates have to appear and qualify the entrance exam. Details on the allotted exam date will be made available at admit card.

Result and counselling - The authorities will declare the NID DAT result 2025 at the official website. Candidates who qualify in the entrance exam have to appear for NID counselling for the seat allotment process. NID cutoff 2025 will be released by the authorities as per the schedule. Note that the NID seats will be allotted based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam.
