The National Institute of Design will release the NID DAT Cut-off on the official website - admissions.nid.edu. The NID category-wise Cutoff shows the individual rank of the last candidate admitted to the B.Des or M.Des programme from each category. The NID entrance exam 2026 has the authorities release the NID cut-off for each round during the NID DAT counselling 2026. The initial student reaction to the question paper suggests the NID DAT 2026 question paper was lengthy. Candidates can check out this article to check out cut-off trends for NID DAT.

Checking out the category-wise cutoff can help candidates estimate the necessary score they need to aim for in the NID DAT selection process 2026 in all categories. Candidates who clear the cut-off will obtain the NID seat allotment. Such candidates will be required to accept the seat, pay the fee, and complete formalities to finalise their seat allotment.
The NID 2026 round for the Category-wise cutoff has not been released. Candidates can instead check out the previous years cutoffs for B.Des and M.Des, given below to get an idea of the expected category cut off. But, candidates also need to remember that the NID DAT 2026 round of admissions no longer considers the weightage of the NID DAT Prelims exam. Instead, shortlisting for seat allotment is done strictly based on marks obtained in the DAT Mains for the Studio Test and the In-person Interview.
Candidates can go through the previous year's cut-off for NID DAT for B.Des and M.Des programmes. The previous year's NID cut-off will help candidates understand the cutoff trends and predict the future cutoff. Although candidates are also required to remember the change in the NID DAT Prelims and Mains weightages for the current round.
The tables below provide the category-wise NID B.Des cut-off for various campuses.

Hi daksh
As 563 rank in nid dat exam cannot guarantee admission in designing college but it could be a good chance to explore some campus as if you are not from general category as category role plays an important role . But now you can do one thing focus on your strengthening your protofile or preparing for the studio test (bdes) or interview (mdes).
Thanks.
