Candidates interested in appearing for the  JD Institute of Fashion Technology General Aptitude Test must meet the JDIFT GAT eligibility criteria 2026 prescribed by the institute. For Undergraduate programmes:

• The candidate must have completed class 12  from a recognized board in any discipline.

For Postgraduate programmes:

• The candidate must have completed graduation or a 3-year diploma from a recognized university in any discipline.

For Postgraduate programmes (Industrial collaboration with Subharti University, Meerut):

• Candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.

JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi will release the JDIFT GAT 2026 application form on its official website -  jdinstitute.ac.in tentatively in December 2025. The JD GAT application form 2026 will be opened tentatively in three phases. The aspirants have to pay the application fee online and submit it before the JD GAT 2026 application form's last date.

• Candidates have to register as new user and fill out the form.
• A verification email and message will be sent to the registered number. 
• Once verified, the candidates will be redirected to fill out the GAT application form.
• Fill in all the required fields in the JD GAT application form.
• Upload a passport-size photograph scanned image.
• Upload the required documents ( class 10th, 12 & graduation).
• Pay the application fee through online mode (credit/debit card, net banking or UPI).
• Submit the JD GAT application form.
• Take a printout of the completed application form for future reference.

Note: Candidates have to get the receipt and acknowledgement signed by the admissions department for any of the payments made.

• Check the details on the GAT 2026 admit card and click download.
• Take a printout of the downloaded PDF of the GAT admit card.

Note: Along with the GAT 2026 admit card, the candidates must carry a valid photo identity card that includes a PAN card, passport, aadhar card, or driving license.
