MAH B.Design CET Exam Date:05 Apr' 26 - 05 Apr' 26
The CET Cell Maharashtra has notified the MAH B.Des CET 2026 exam date and the exam syllabus on its official website - cetcell.mahacet.org. It will conduct MAH B.Des CET 2026 on April 5, 2026 in offline mode. The Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, will open the MAH B.Des CET 2026 application form tentatively in January 2026. Candidates will be able to complete MAH B.Des CET 2026 registrations from the official website - cetcell.mahacet.org. The MAH B.Des CET syllabus is divided into three parts: A, B, and C that evaluate the candidates on visualisation and illustration ability, design thinking and problem solving, and GK MCQs, respectively.
Candidates who have a valid score will be able to register for the MAH CET B.Des counselling process. The CET Cell will conduct the MAH B.Des counselling process in multiple rounds. Only those candidates who clear the MAH B.Design cut-offs for each round will be able to secure seat allotment.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell conducts the BDes exam to provide admissions to the 4-year full-time Bachelor of design courses in the colleges of Maharashtra. The Maharashtra State CET Cell conducts the MAH BDes entrance exam once a year in offline mode. The MAH BDesign CET exam is a state-level design entrance exam for admission into Bachelor of Design programmes of participating colleges in Maharashtra.

MAH B.Design CET Maharashtra Bachelor of Design Common Entrance Test (session 2026)
The CET Cell prescribes the MAH B.Des CET 2026 eligibility criteria in the information brochure. Interested applicants need to ensure that they meet the MAH B.Design CET 2026 eligibility criteria before proceeding with the registrations. The MAH BDes 2026 eligibility criteria are given below.
Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 exam or its equivalent examination with minimum aggregate marks of 45% (40% for the reserved categories, EWS, and PWD candidates).
Students appearing for their class 12 exams are also eligible to apply provided they qualify the exam with the prescribed minimum marks by the time of admission
The nationality of the candidate must be Indian.
There is no age limit prescribed for the aspirants to appear for the MAH BDes CET
The MAH BDes CET application form 2026 will be opened online on the official website - mahacet.cetcell.org, tentatively in January 2026. Interested applicants must complete the registration before the last date and pay the application fee.
The candidates applying for the MAH BDes 2026 have to pay the application fee in online mode only through the online payment gateway. Candidates to note that this application fee is non-refundable and also non-transferable.

The CET Cell Maharashtra has notified the MAH B.Des CET 2026 syllabus and exam pattern in its information brochure. It will conduct the MAH B.Design CET in offline mode at various exam centres. The MAH BDes CET exam pattern gives the candidates, a clear idea about the question pattern, exam timings, marking scheme, and maximum marks, etc.
The MAH BDes CET question paper comprises three parts - Part A, B and C. The candidates are required to check the details below in the table.

The candidates seeking admission to BDesign courses must appear for all papers of MAH BDesign CET 2026. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
Candidates will be provided with OMR answer sheets with the question paper for the objective section. At the end of the paper, the candidate will hand over the OMR Answer sheet to the invigilator.

The CET Cell Maharashtra will issue the MAH B.Des CET 2026 admit card tentatively a week before the exam. Candidates will be able to download the MAH B.Design CET admit card 2026 through their login. Candidates must download and take a printout of the MAH BDes CET admit card 2026. A copy of the admit card is required to be carried to the exam centre on the exam day.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will release the MAH BDes CET Answer Key 2026 in online mode on the official website - mahacet.cetcell.org. To download the MAH BDesign CET 2026 answer key pdf, the candidates have to use their login credentials. The authorities will also open a window to raise objections.
The CET Cell Maharashtra will declare the MAH B.Des CET 2026 result tentatively in June 2026. Candidates will be able to download the MAH B.Des CET result 2026 through their login. The MAH BDes CET scorecard 2026 contains the all-India rank (AIR) and the subject-wise marks obtained by the candidates. Candidates who have a valid score in the exam will be able to register for the counselling process.
The CET Cell Maharashtra will release the MAH B.Des CET cutoff 2026 for each round of counselling. Only those candidates who clear the MAH BDes cutoff will be able to secure admission.

The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, will notify the counselling schedule on its CAP portal. It will tentatively conduct four rounds of MAH B.Design CET counselling 2026. Candidates have to register for the counselling process through their login. The seat allotment will be done based on the candidate's rank and college preferences. The allotted candidates have to pay the admission fee and report to the colleges within the prescribed deadline. The CET Cell will conduct multiple MAH B.Des CET CAP rounds.
