CET Cell Maharashtra will release the MAH BDes CET 2027 counselling schedule on its official website: cetcell.mahacet.org. The centralised counselling rounds will be followed by institute-level counselling.

What is MAH CET BDes Counselling 2027?

The MAH B.Design CET 2027 counselling is the centralised process conducted by the CET Cell, Maharashtra, for admissions into the B.Des programme of participating colleges in Maharashtra. The counselling process is also known as the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). In the multiple CAP rounds of the MAH CET BDes counselling, candidates who clear the cut-off for each CAP round will be eligible for seat allotment.

MAH CET B.Des CAP 2027 Counselling Process

Given below are the steps involved in the MAH B.Des CET counselling process.

Stage 1: Registration

• Step 1: Candidates must apply and register themselves for the counselling process. Candidates can register online. To register, candidates have to enter personal details like name, contact information, category, mailing address, email ID, etc.
• Step 2: Proceed further by filling in the educational qualifications to participate in the centralized admission process, i.e., MAH CET BDes 2027.

Stage 2: Verification of Documents

• Step 3: Candidates will have to upload the documents as per the specifications provided by the authorities.
• Step 4: Meanwhile, the State Common Entrance Test Cell will release the provisional merit list of selected candidates. Candidates facing any problems can submit their grievances. The final merit lists will be displayed on the official website.
• Step 5: Candidates can view category-wise seats, i.e., the seat matrix for CAP rounds I and above (if any).

Stage 3: Preference Filling and Seat Allotment

• Step 6: Candidates are allowed to submit their college preferences in order of their preference. Candidates can obtain the seat allotment only in those colleges that are part of their preferences.
• Step 7: The State Common Entrance Test cell will display the provisional allotment list of CAP rounds. The seat allotment will be done based on the candidate's rank and the college preferences given by them. The CET Cell will also publish the MAH B.Des CET cut-off along with the seat allotment.

Stage 4- Reporting to Colleges

• Step 8: Shortlisted candidates are required to report and, if admitted, accept the seats offered as per the CAP allotment round of the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC).
• Step 9: More than 340 FCs, i.e., Facilitation Centres in participating institutions of MAH CET BDes, are expected to be set up by the State Common Entrance Test Cell for admission
• Step 10: If the candidates are not satisfied with the allotment, they can surrender their seats to participate in the next CAP round

MAH BDes CET Merit List 2027

The Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will publish the MAH BDes CET 2027 provisional merit list on its official website. Candidates will be able to submit their grievances for any sort of corrections within the prescribed deadline. After considering the valid grievances, authorities will release the MAH BDes CET 2027 final merit list.

MAH BDes CET CAP 2027 Choice Filling

CET cell, Maharashtra will open the MAH BDes CET 2027 choice filling tentatively in the fourth week of August 2027.  Candidates can fill in the choices online through their login on the admission portal. There is no limit on the number of choices, so candidates can select the maximum number of choices.

MAH BDes CET CAP Allotment 2027

CET cell, Maharashtra will release the MAH B.Des CET 2027 seat allotment will be tentatively released in September 2027. Candidates can check the seat allotment results of MAH BDes CET Counselling from the admission portal and download the seat allotment letter. All the allotted candidates should accept the seat and report to the colleges on the prescribed dates. In the MAH BDes CET seat allotment will be released in multiple rounds. All the applicants will be given three options in the Common Admission Process, as mentioned below:

• Auto Freeze - If a candidate gets one among the first preferences (in CAP 1), the first three preferences (in CAP 2), and the first six preferences (in CAP 3), the seat is automatically frozen, and the candidate is not allowed to participate in further rounds.
• Freeze: Candidates who accept the seats offered to them (which are not their first preference) and do not wish to participate in further rounds of seat allotment have the option to freeze their seats. Such candidates will not be called for further admission rounds.
• Betterment: Candidates who have accepted the seat allotted in the CAP rounds but wish to be considered for further rounds of admission can choose to freeze. However, this option will be available only to those candidates who have not got the first preference in CAP round 1, have not got the first three preferences in CAP round 2, and have not got the first six preferences in CAP round 3.
