The Institute-level MAH BDes admissions 2025 have started. The vacant seats in any after centralised MAH BDes CET counselling 2025 will be published and filled by the colleges between September 3-9, 2025 separately. Candidates must refer to the official website of individual colleges. The last date of cancellation of admissions with full refund is September 7, 2025. The cut-off date for all admissions in MAH BDes CET is September 9, upto 6 PM. Earlier, the CET Cell completed four rounds of MAH BDes CET seat allotment after publishing the seat allotment for the fourth round of MAH B.Des CET 2025 counselling on August 26, 2025, on its official website -bdesigncap2025.mahacet.org. Through the MAH CET B.Design exam, candidates will be admitted into the UG design programmes of participating colleges in Maharashtra. The MAH CET B.Design exam will be followed by a Centralised Admission Process (CAP), in which students will be allotted B.Design seats in MAH CET participating colleges based on their scores. Only the candidates who have a valid score in the Maharashtra CET BDesign 2025 exam are eligible for MAH BDes counselling 2025. The MAH BDes result 2025 was declared in online mode on June 9.

MAH B.Design CET is followed by a common counselling process for seat allotment, which is called Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The B.Design CAP is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell for allotment of seats in participating institutes. All MAH B.Design CET qualifiers can participate in BDes CAP rounds.
MAH CET B.Design 2025 is conducted annually. Shortlisted candidates will be allotted seats in the participating colleges through counselling of MAH CET BDes 2025. Institutions participating in MAH CET B.Des 2025 will release individual cutoffs based on which further rounds of counselling are conducted.
Candidates who achieve the required cutoff will be shortlisted for CAP or counselling rounds. Henceforth, shortlisted candidates of MAH BDes CET 2025 can participate in Counselling or CAP rounds only.
Let's go through each phase one by one to get a better understanding.
Step 1: Candidates must apply and register themselves for the counselling process. Candidates can register through online mode. To register themselves, candidates have to enter personal details like name, contact information, category, mailing address, email ID, etc.
Step 2: Proceed further by filling in the educational qualifications to participate in the centralized admission process, i.e., MAH CET BDes 2025.

Step 3: Candidates will have to upload the documents as per the specification provided by the authorities.
Step 4: Meanwhile, the State Common Entrance Test Cell will release the provisional merit list of selected candidates. Candidates facing any problems can submit their grievances. The final merit lists will be displayed on the official website.
Step 5: Candidates can view category-wise seats, i.e., seat matrix for CAP rounds I and above (if any).
Step 6: Students will be given the options of the institutes they wish to enroll themselves in before the first round of MAH CET BDes CAP 2025 and the courses they wish to opt for. Once the application form is filled and confirmed by the candidates, they will be considered for allotment of CAP rounds without any change.
Step 7: The State Common Entrance Test cell will display the provisional allotment list of CAP rounds. This list indicates the institute and courses allotted to the candidates. The seats in the State Common Entrance Test Cell will be allotted based on the marks obtained by the candidate in MAH CET B.Design 2025.
Step 8: Shortlisted candidates are required to report and, if admitted, accept the seats offered as per the CAP allotment round of the Admission Reporting Center (ARC).
Step 9: More than 340 FCs, i.e., Facilitation Centres in participating institutions of MAH CET BDes 2025 are expected to be set up by the State Common Entrance Test Cell for admission in 2025-2026.
Step 10: If the candidates are not satisfied with the allotment, they can surrender their seats to participate in the next CAP round to get the best Design college in Maharashtra state.

The MAH B.Des CET CAP allotment 2025 is released for each round of counselling. Candidates will be able to check the seat allotment results of MAH BDes CET Counselling from the admission portal and download the seat allotment letter. In MAH CET CAP rounds 2025, applicants will be given three options in the Common Admission Process of MAH CET BDes 2025:
Freeze: Candidates who accept the seats offered to them and do not wish to participate in further rounds of seat allotment have the option to freeze their seats. Such candidates will not be called for further admission rounds.
Slide/Float: Candidates who wish to accept the seat offered by the State Common Entrance Test Cell will have this option. In addition to acceptance, these applicants will accept it if they are granted higher priority. Such applicants will be considered for subsequent admission rounds and informed about the same.
