NIFT Result 2018 - The result of admissions to NIFT Srinagar for domicile candidates of J&K has been announced on July 24. The entrance exam was conducted on July 22 and 23. National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi declared the final result for B.Des. and B.F.Tech admissions for all the other candidates on May 15. Earlier, NIFT 2018 result of the written entrance exam was announced on March 22. Candidates, who appeared for Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) on January 21, could check their NIFT result 2018 by entering Roll Number and Date of Birth to know their score. The result of NIFT 2018 can be checked in online mode only. Based on the result of written test GAT and CAT, shortlisted candidates were called for situation test. Registration for NIFT 2018 Situation Test could be done from April 5 (2 PM onwards) to April 12 (12 noon). Candidates with higher marks have been shortlisted in the final merit list. Based on the NIFT merit list 2018, candidates will get admission in the design institute. How to check NIFT 2018 Result?

Candidates, who have appeared for the entrance exam, should follow below steps to check result of NIFT 2018:

  1. Click on ‘NIFT result 2018’ tab.

  2. Enter any two of these- Roll number, date of birth and application number.

  3. Click on ‘Submit’ button.

NIFT 2018 result will be displayed on the computer screen. Candidates are required to verify all the mentioned details, and take a printout for future purpose.

NIFT 2018 Result was available for the candidates in the form of scorecard, which is also one of the most important documents required during admission procedure. This will be required to be produced by them at the time of counselling. NIFT 2018 scorecard will carry the following information-

  • Candidate’s name

  • Roll number

  • Application number

  • Date of birth

  • Candidate’s photograph

  • Subject-wise scores obtained in CAT, GAT and Situation Test

What after NIFT Written Entrance Exam Result 2018?

After taking in consideration the scores, final NIFT 2018 result and merit list are prepared. This has been published in online mode on May 15, 2018. Admissions across NIFTs will be done on the basis of score obtained by the test-takers in CAT, GAT, group discussion, situation test and personal interview rounds.

 

NIFT cutoff 2018 will be declared by National Institute of Fashion Technology which is the section and campus-wise closing rank. It will depend on various factors such as total number of candidates appearing in NIFT 2018, total candidates who cleared it, the difficulty level of question paper, total seats for B. Design and B. F. Tech programmes.

 

National Institute of Fashion Technology's entrance examination will offer as many as 2010 seats of B. Design and 360 seats of B.F.Tech programme across 16 NIFT campuses that are located in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Kannur, Hyderabad, Gandhinagar, Bengaluru, Raebareli, Shillong, Patna, Kangra, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, Srinagar, Chennai and Bhopal.

 

NIFT Result 2018 FAQs

Question- When will NIFT declare the result of NIFT entrance exam?

Answer- The NIFT 2018 result for GAT and CAT has been declared on March 22. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the result online using their roll no and date of birth.

 

Question- What comes next after the NIFT result 2018 declaration?

Answer- Based on the result of GAT and CAT, shortlisted candidates will be called for situation test. The final result of NIFT will be declared in May/June 2018. 

 

Question- In the NIFT 2018 result, how much weightage will be given to CAT, GAT and situation test for B.Des. aspirants?  

Answer- GAT, CAT and situation test will be given 30%, 50% and 20% weightage respectively in the final result of NIFT 2018.

Dear,

There will be no minimum required to attent the entrance exam of NIFT. But the thing is you have to be Qualified in the 12th. And you can apply when the result is out.
