NIFT Result 2019

NIFT Result 2019 - National Institute of Fashion Technology will announce NIFT 2019 result of the written test (CAT and GAT) in fourth week of March. NIFT entrance exam 2019 for B.Des. and B.F.Tech admissions will be held in third week of January. NIFT result 2019 can be checked by entering roll number and date of birth. The result of NIFT 2019 can be checked in online mode only. The shortlisted candidates of Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) will be called for situation test, which will be held in April/May 2019. Registration for NIFT 2019 situation test can be done in first two weeks of April. NIFT result 2019 (final) will be declared in third week of May. Qualified candidates will get admissions across sixteen campuses of NIFT comprising more than 2,400 seats on merit basis of NIFT 2019. Steps to check NIFT 2019 result

The result for NIFT admissions 2019 can be checked by following these simple steps:

  1. Click on ‘NIFT result 2019’ tab.

  2. Enter any two of these- Roll number, date of birth and application number.

  3. Click on ‘Submit’ button.

  4. Print the result for future reference.

The result of NIFT 2019 will be available in the form of scorecard, which is one of the most important documents required during the admission procedure. Candidates will have to produce this at the time of counselling. The scorecard of NIFT 2019 will carry the following information:

What after NIFT result 2019?

NIFT 2019 result will be prepared after taking in account the final scores. It will be declared in third week of May. Admissions across NIFTs will be done on the basis of scores secured by the test-takers in CAT, GAT, group discussion, situation test and personal interview rounds.

NIFT Merit List 2019

NIFT does not release any merit list of the test-takers. Each candidate gets to know his/her own common merit rank from the NIFT result 2019.

 NIFT Cutoff 2019

National Institute of Fashion Technology will release the cutoff of NIFT 2019 which is the section-wise and campus-wise closing rank. Candidates can check the NIFT 2019 cutoff after the admission procedure is over.

More than two thousand seats and 360 B.FTech. seats will be offered to the eligible and qualified candidates solely on merit basis. NIFT has sixteen campuses across India that are located in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Kannur, Hyderabad, Gandhinagar, Bengaluru, Raebareli, Shillong, Patna, Kangra, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, Srinagar, Chennai and Bhopal.

 

NIFT Result 2019 FAQs

Question- When will NIFT announce the NIFT result 2019? 

Answer- The result of CAT and GAT will be announced in February or March 2019. Candidates can check the result in online mode by using their roll number and date of birth.

 

Question- What comes next after the NIFT 2019 result announcement?

Answer- Based on the result of written tests, shortlisted candidates will be called for situation test (B.Des. admissions). The final result will be declared in May/June.

 

Question- How much weightage will be given to CAT, GAT and situation test for B.Des. aspirants?  

Answer- GAT, CAT and situation test will be given 30%, 50% and 20% weightage respectively in the final result of NIFT admissions 2019.
