The National Testing Agency will notify the list of NIFT exam centres 2026 on the official website - nift.ac.in. The NIFT 2026 exam centres refer to the list of cities at which the NIFT entrance exam will be held. NTA will conduct NIFT 2026 in around 82 cities across India. Candidates have to provide their NIFT exam centre 2026 choices at the time of filling up the NIFT 2026 application form. Candidates are allowed to provide 4 exam centre preferences. The allotted NIFT 2026 exam centre will be mentioned on the candidate's NIFT 2026 admit card. NTA will conduct the NIFTEE 2026 as well as stage 2 of the NIFT admission process at the designated NIFT exam centres. Stage 2 will include a situation test and a personal interview. It is important to note that the NIFT stage 2 will be conducted in only around 18 exam centres across India. The exam will be conducted simultaneously at the designated NIFT exam centres. Candidates will be admitted into the B.Des, M.Des, B.FTech, M.FTech, and MFM programmes at NIFT.

Candidates can provide their NIFT 2026 entrance exam centre preferences at the time of completing the application form. Candidates are allowed to provide a maximum of 4 exam centre choices in the order of their preference. Candidates must select the exam centre preferrably in their own city or neighborhood as per their convenience.
In case the number of candidates opting for a particular NIFT 2026 exam centre is less than the specified minimum, then candidates may be allotted an exam centre which is different than their choice.
Admit card is the most mandatory thing that every candidate must carry to the NIFT entrance exam centre. The candidates must carry any of the following identity proofs, along with the NIFT admit card. They are listed below for your reference.

Candidates must follow all the exam instructions carefully at the NIFT 2026 exam centres and during the exam. Some of the important NIFT 2026 exam instructions are given below.
They must reach the exam centre at the prescribed reporting time.
Candidates must carry a blue or black ballpoint pen, HB pencils, eraser, sharpener, and dry colours for the Creativity Ability Test (CAT).
If candidates are found to be involved in unfair means and trying to take the booklet and answer sheet out of the exam centres, they will be disqualified from the exam.
Top Design Entrance Exam
NTA will issue the NIFT 2026 admit card online. To download the NIFT admit card 2026, candidates must use their login credentials. The admit card will contain important details such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam date and time, exam centre. Candidates must take a printout of the admit card and carry it to the exam hall. The NIFT 2026 admit card must be preserved till the end of the admission process.

No, the change of NIFT exam centre is not permitted after submitting the application form.
There was a checklist prepared for the things, that every candidate had checked and followed. They are: Driving license, PAN card, Passport, Voter ID card, Student ID issued by current school/college, and the Aadhar card.
The NIFT 2026 admit card will be released tentatively one week before the exam.
