The National Testing Agency will conduct the NIFT situation test for UG students on April 26, 2026. NTA authorities have released the NIFT stage 2 city intimation slip on April 17, 2026 on its official website - exam.nta.nic.in/niftee. The NIFT situation test admit card is expected to release 2 or 3 days before the exam. Earlier, the NTA authorities have conducted the NIFT PG interviews from April 6 to 11, 2026. The Situation Test is the second stage of the admission process, and only candidates who qualify in the NIFT entrance exam can appear for it.

The authorities will grant admission based on candidates’ performance in both the entrance exam and the Situation Test. The NIFT final results are expected to be declared tentatively in May 2026. Candidates had to provide their NIFT exam centre 2026 choices at the time of filling out the NIFT 2026 application form. Candidates were allowed to provide 4 exam centre preferences. Candidates were allowed to provide their NIFT 2026 entrance exam centre preferences at the time of completing the application form. Candidates are allowed to provide a maximum of 4 exam centre choices in the order of their preference. Candidates must select the exam centre preferrably in their own city or neighborhood as per their convenience.
In case the number of candidates opting for a particular NIFT 2026 exam centre is less than the specified minimum, then candidates may be allotted an exam centre which is different than their choice.

Candidates must follow all the exam instructions carefully at the NIFT 2026 exam centres and during the exam. Some of the important NIFT 2026 exam instructions are given below.
They must reach the exam centre at the prescribed reporting time.
Candidates must carry a blue or black ballpoint pen, HB pencils, eraser, sharpener, and dry colours for the Creativity Ability Test (CAT).

The National Testing Agency will issue the NIFT 2026 situation test admit card soon on its official website. To download the NIFT admit card 2026, candidates must use their login credentials. The admit card contains important details such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam date and time, exam centre. Candidates must take a printout of the admit card and carry it to the exam hall. The NIFT 2026 admit card must be preserved till the end of the admission process.
