Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has released the UCEED seat allotment 2024 result round 5 on July 3. UCEED 2024 seat allotment link is available at uceed.iitb.ac.in. To download the UCEED seat allotment 2024 result, aspirants have to use their application number and password. Candidates must confirm their seat allotment by using freeze and float option and pay the fee before the deadline. UCEED seat allotment 2024 result round 3 was released on June 11.

Along with each round of UCEED seat allotment, the authorities also release the UCEED cutoff. There will be a total of 5 rounds of UCEED 2024 seat allotment. As per UCEED seat matrix, the total seats for IIT Bdes courses are 225. Only those candidates who have cleared the UCEED exam and achieved a merit rank will be eligible for the UCEED 2024 seat allotment.
UCEED Seat Allotment 2024 - Overview
- UCEED seat allotment date 2024 for round 5 is July 3.
The UCEED 2024 Joint Seat Allocation process is conducted under the supervision of IIT Bombay.
Selected candidates will be sent provisional allotment letters via their registered email.
Candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 60,000 (Rupees Sixty Thousand only) for GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL and Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) for SC/ST/PwD.
The total number of seats available in IITs through UCEED are 225.
Successful candidates of UCEED 2024 will be awarded BDes seats at esteemed institutions such as IIT Guwahati, IT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIITDM Jabalpur, IIT Roorkee and IIT Hyderabad.
UCEED Seat Allotment Date 2024
IIT Bombay has announced the UCEED seat allotment 2024 dates at the official website. The UCEED seat allocation process will consist of five rounds. Following each round of UCEED seat allotment 2024, candidates are required to decide on whether to accept the admission offer or continue to the next round. During the UCEED 2024 seat allotment, candidates have the option to float, freeze, or decline. The allotment of seats for UCEED 2024 is determined by factors such as the candidates’ preferences, and the total number of available seats, among others.

Once the authorities have declared the UCEED seat allotment 2024 result, candidates will have to select any one of the following:
Float: Keep the allotted seat and wish for an upgrade.
Freeze: Satisfied with the allotment and don’t want to participate in further rounds.
Withdraw: Accepted the seat but wish to withdraw before the final round.
After selecting any of the options mentioned above as per their preference, candidates will have to pay the UCEED seat acceptance fee before the last date.

UCEED Seat Allotment 2024: Important Instructions
If a candidate fails to seat acceptance fee before the deadline or decline the admission, their application will stand cancelled. Moreover, such students will not be considered for further rounds of the UCEED seat allotment process.
If applicants are allotted their first choice of institute, they can either ACCEPT (‘freeze’) the offer or DECLINE it. If they choose to DECLINE the offer, they will not be considered for subsequent rounds, and their current seat allocation shall be cancelled.
In cases of ACCEPT/FLOAT/FREEZE, the candidates will have to pay the complete amount of the UCEED seat acceptance fee mentioned in the provisional seat allotment letter.
For candidates who accept the offered seat, the seat acceptance fee will be adjusted against the institute fees of the admitting institute at the time of joining. For candidates who decline the offered seat after remitting the seat acceptance fee, the refund of the seat acceptance fee will be governed by the policies of the admitting institute.

IIT Bombay released the UCEED cutoff 2024 on February 8 in the form of mean and standard deviation. The mean and standard deviation for UCEED 2024 cutoff for Part A are 43.91 and 23.03 respectively.

The secret to passing NID, NIFT, and CEED is creativity; you may do this without depending on coaching sessions. I would advise going on a tour or travelling instead of paying hefty fees to teaching centres. If not, simply take in your surroundings. Every morning, take a stroll and study the textures and patterns of the surroundings. Try to observe and see things from your perspective wherever you go. Try to consider and analyse the issues!
