IIT Bombay will conduct 5 rounds for UCEED seat allotment 2025. The authorities will activate the UCEED 2025 seat allotment registration link as per the schedule at uceed.iitb.ac.in. UCEED Seat Allotment 2025 - Overview
- UCEED seat allotment registration dates are from March 14 to 31, 2025.
- The UCEED 2025 Joint Seat Allocation process will be conducted under the supervision of IIT Bombay.
- Selected candidates will be sent provisional allotment letters via their registered email.
- Candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 60,000 (Rupees Sixty Thousand only) for GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL and Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) for SC/ST/PwD.

UCEED Seat Allotment Date 2025
IIT Bombay announced the UCEED seat allotment 2025 dates at the official website. The UCEED seat allocation process will consist of five rounds. Following each round of UCEED 2025 seat allotment, candidates are required to decide on whether to accept the admission offer or continue to the next round. During the UCEED 2025 seat allotment rounds, the candidates have the select options as to float, freeze, or decline. Candidates can check the UCEED seat allotment 2025 date from the official website - uceed.iitb.ac.in. Also, the candidates shortlisted will receive the UCEED provisional seat allotment letters to their registered email from the concerned authority. Upon successful login, details on the allotted UCEED participating institute will be displayed on the screen.
What after UCEED 2025 seat allotment result declaration?
Once the authorities declare the UCEED 2025 seat allotment result, candidates will have to select any one of the following:
Float: Keep the allotted seat and wish for an upgrade.
Freeze: Satisfied with the allotment and don’t want to participate in further rounds.
Withdraw: Accepted the seat but wish to withdraw before the final round.
After selecting any of the options mentioned above as per their preference, candidates will have to pay the UCEED 2025 seat acceptance fee before the last date.

UCEED Seat Allotment 2025: Important Instructions
If a candidate fails to seat acceptance fee before the deadline or decline the admission, their application will stand cancelled. Moreover, such students will not be considered for further rounds of the UCEED seat allotment process.
If applicants are allotted their first choice of institute, they can either ACCEPT (‘freeze’) the offer or DECLINE it. If they choose to DECLINE the offer, they will not be considered for subsequent rounds, and their current seat allocation shall be cancelled.
In cases of ACCEPT/FLOAT/FREEZE, the candidates will have to pay the complete amount of the UCEED seat acceptance fee mentioned in the provisional seat allotment letter.
For candidates who accept the offered seat, the seat acceptance fee will be adjusted against the institute fees of the admitting institute at the time of joining. For candidates who decline the offered seat after remitting the seat acceptance fee, the refund of the seat acceptance fee will be governed by the policies of the admitting institute.

There is no requirement of tick in part B in UCEED as Part-B consists of TWO questions to test the candidates' drawing skills and design aptitude. This will require subjective evaluation. The questions in Part-B will be displayed on the computer screen, and the answer must be written/drawn in the answer book provided by the invigilator.
So don't worry your copy gets check and marks will be added in your final score that is used for counselling process.
