The students who want to take admissions into IIT Guwahati must know the IIT Guwahati B.Des admission process. The students must register for the entrance exam UCEED conducted by IIT Bombay through the official website. The students must fill the UCEED application form and upload necessary documents required for the exam followed by paying the fees for the exam. In round one of the UCEED counselling process the provisionally allotted candidates will be given seats according to the choices as per the seat matrix. The documents will be verified, and the candidate will be given an allotment letter which he or she can choose to either freeze or float. The candidates need to pay Rs. 60,000 through an online portal if they accept the seat.
If the candidate gets his/her first choice there is no scope for upgradation. If there is no vacancy at the end of the first round, a second round of counselling will not be conducted. However, if a vacancy is created the candidates who have opted for the float option will be upgraded to the higher choice. Once the candidate has got the best possible choice at the end of the admission, he or she will have to report to the institution allotted for the admission process as per the rules of the Institution. The candidates must note that once admitted to the B.Des program he or she will not be eligible to change the branch of the undergraduate programs offered. The students who have accepted IIT Guwahati B.Des admission after the payment of Rs. 60,000 need to report at IIT Guwahati as per the mentioned states in the admission letter.

There is no requirement of tick in part B in UCEED as Part-B consists of TWO questions to test the candidates' drawing skills and design aptitude. This will require subjective evaluation. The questions in Part-B will be displayed on the computer screen, and the answer must be written/drawn in the answer book provided by the invigilator.
So don't worry your copy gets check and marks will be added in your final score that is used for counselling process.
