IICD Entrance Exam 2025: Result Out, Seat Allotment, Selection Process

IICD 2025 result has been declared for BDes, MDes, and PG Diploma on the official website on February 21, 2025. Candidates can check their results for IICD 2025 on the official website by adding credentials like email ID and password.

Candidates will be able to check the  IICD exam result 2025 at its official website - iicd.ac.in. The IICD results will be updated in the form of a pdf. Candidates will be able to download the IICD 2025 results by entering their login credentials.

Steps to download IICD 2025 result 

• Visit iicd.ac.in
• Click on the IICD result 2025 link 
• Login using the email id and password 
• Upon successful login, the result will be displayed on the screen.
• Download and take a printout of the same. 

The authorities released the eligibility criteria of IICD 2025 along with the brochure. The IICD eligibility criteria 2025 include age limit, academic qualification and more, etc to get admission into the design programmes. The applicants, before filling out the application form must ensure that they meet the IICD 2025 eligibility criteria. The IICD eligibility criteria 2025 are as follows.

B.Design: 

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised education board.

• Candidates appearing for the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

M.Design:

• Candidates must have passed graduation is design and architecture from a recognised institution/university.

• Candidates appearing for the final year graduation examinations may also apply.

Note: There is no age limit for the candidates to apply for B.Des or M.Des courses.

The Indian Institute of Crafts and Design, Jaipur released the IICD 2025 application form on October 7, 2024 at 4 PM. The IICD application form 2025 is available online at - iicd.ac.in. The last date to submit the IICD 2025 application form is January 13. The applicants are advised to visit the official website - iicd.ac.in to register themselves and fill out the IICD application form 2025 online to appear for the IICD entrance exam. Before proceeding to fill out the IICD application form, the applicants must keep the following documents handy to complete the submission process.

• Recent photograph

• Scanned copy of 10th class mark sheet

• Scanned copy of 12th class mark sheet 

• Photo identity proof

• Candidate’s signature

• Category certificate (if applicable)

• Disability certificate (if applicable)

Application Fees: The candidates are required to make an online payment of Rs.1,750 (Rs. One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty only) as an application fee. The candidates to note that the application fee is non-refundable.

• Applicants to register themselves by providing their details.

• Verify your email address.

• Login credentials such as the User ID and Password are allotted.

• Login and fill out the IICD application form 2025.

• Upload the scanned documents and photograph.

• Make payment of the application fee online.

• Click on save and submit the application form.

The IICD exam pattern 2025 for the entrance exam was specified by the authorities. The IICD  exam pattern includes the examination mode, concepts, and the weightage carried, etc.

• Part A is conducted to test the candidate’s abilities such as observation, synthesis, visual interpretation, and general awareness.

• Part B (a) tests how intelligently the candidates use materials to conceptualize and realize a 3-dimensional form, the skill of handling material, and provides a solution for a given situation and a plan, and strategy. This also tests the ability to provide various solutions to the given problem with a written description.

• Part B (b) is conducted to evaluate the candidate’s personality in terms of aptitude to crafts, intelligence quotient (IQ), communication ability, general awareness about crafts & design, and overall personal achievements in academics and co-curricular activities.

The IICD 2025 entrance exam will be conducted in online mode. The IICD entrance exam consists of 2 parts, A & B. The table below provides the concepts and weightages. The weightage percentage may differ according to the year. Please find the weightage of the IICD exam 2025 in the table below.

For the candidates to through in the IICD entrance exam, it is necessary to follow some important preparation instructions given below.

• Check the previous exam pattern, which includes the type of questions, marking scheme, and time allotted to each of the sections.

• Make a note of the important headings.

• Check if there is any change in the current exam pattern from the previous one. 

• Regularly practice the sample questions.

• Try to attempt the mock test if available.

The Indian Institute of Crafts and Design issued the IICD admit card 2025 online on January 16. The registered candidates need to use the login credentials to download the IICD 2025 admit card. Candidates appearing for the IICD entrance exam must carry the printout of the IICD admit card 2025 along with an original valid photo Identity proof. The valid photo identity proof includes a Voter ID/passport/PAN card. The following details will be mentioned on the IICD 2025 admit card.

• Upon successful login, the result will be displayed on the screen.

Students will be shortlisted based on their performance in the IICD entrance exam which consists of three parts - Part A, Part B and Part C. Shortlisted candidates will report to the Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD), Jaipur, along with their admit card of IICD 2025 on the specified date mentioned against their enrollment number in the merit list. Candidates need to confirm the seat, should pay the IICD fee where the portal will be opened from March 7 to March 28, 2025.

All selected candidates will be informed about their selection through an admission letter, which will be mailed to their registered email ID. The admission letter contains the following information:

• Details regarding payment of fees

• Allotment of Hostel and date

• Time and venue of the academic session
