Indian Institute of Design and Crafts will conduct the IICD entrance exam in offline mode. The authorities released the application form of IICD 2020 on December 20, 2019 in online mode. Candidates will be able to fill the IICD 2020 application form till March 20, 2020. Before filling the application form, candidates must read the eligibility criteria of the IICD entrance exam. The IICD entrance test 2020 will be conducted in two parts- Part A and Part B. IICD 2020, Part A entrance exam will be held on April 12. Section/part A is based on general awareness, creativity and perception test while part B consists of material, colour and conceptual test followed by an interview. Candidates are offered admission to the various programs based on their performance in IICD 2020 entrance exam and Personal Interview (PI).

IICD 2020 eligibility criteria include the academic qualification, age limit and other parameters which the candidates must meet before they start filling the application form of IICD 2020.
For B.Des Programme: Candidates must have passed class XII from a recognized board. Students who are appearing in the qualifying exam can also appear for the entrance test.
For M.Des Programme: Students must have a graduation degree in design and architecture background from a recognized institute/ university. Candidates must be passionate about aptitude towards craft, fashion or design. Candidates who are appearing in the final year can also appear in the entrance test.
As per IICD eligibility criteria, there is no age limit to apply for an entrance exam

IICD 2020 exam pattern includes the exam mode, marking scheme, type of questions, total marks of exam etc. IICD 2020 will be conducted in two parts: Part A and Part B. The part A of entrance test consists of general awareness, creativity and perception entrance exam while part B includes material, Colour and conceptual test. The part A consists candidates’ following abilities such as observation, synthesis and visual interpretation and general awareness while part B tests intelligent use of materials, conceptualize and realize a 3-dimensional form, skill of handling material, create a solution based on a plan and strategy. It also tests exam takers ability to provide multiple solutions to the given problem with a written description.

Indian Institute of Design and Crafts will email IICD 2020 admit card to the eligible candidates on April 1, 2020 on their registered email Id. Candidates who appeared for the IICD exam have to carry the printout of admit card along with one xerox copy and original copy of Identity proof.

Authorities will release IICD 2020 result (part A) on April 22 and for part B on June 10 in online mode respectively. Candidates will be able to download their respective result by using their necessary login credentials. IICD Result 2020 will be available in the form of the scorecard at the official website of IICD.
After the declaration of result, the qualified candidates from part A test will have to appear for entrance test Part B and Part C interview. Shortlisted candidates will report to Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD), Jaipur, along with their admit card of IICD 2020 on the specified date mentioned against their enrollment number in the merit list. All selected candidates will be informed about their selection through an admission letter, which will be mailed to their registered email ID. The admission letter contains the following information:

Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD), Jaipur will conduct the entrance exam of IICD based on pen and paper mode. The duration of the entrance exam vary for each parts - Part A and Part B. Candidates have to attempt the question of Part A exam in two hours, however the exam duration for Part B is three hours.
