Woxsen Design Test - WDT

To be eligible for the Bachelor of Design( B.Des) programme at Woxsen University need to satisfy the following eligibilities:

• Candidates must have successfully completed their 10 + 2 level of education or its equivalents from recognised boards such as CBSE, ISC, state Boards, IB, Cambridge, or other government recognised boards, with a minimum aggregate score of 60% .

•  Proficiency in English is also a mandatory requirement. 

• Students who are currently in their 12th Grade or equivalent can also apply.

• Passing the 12th Grade or equivalent examination is mandatory for securing admission at Woxsen University. 

WDT Eligibility Criteria for International Students

Woxsen University opens applications for International students under following Categories: 

• Foreign Nationals (FN): This category is for individuals who hold citizenship of a foreign country (excluding India) and do not possess CWG/PIO/OCI status.

• Non-Resident Indians (NRI): This category is for individuals who, despite being Indian citizens, reside in a foreign country.

• Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI): This category is for individuals who hold citizenship of any country (except Pakistan & Bangladesh) and possess a PIO/OCI card in accordance with the existing laws of the Indian Government.

Students who fall in the above categories will be considered International students for Woxsen University. The International students should satisfy the following Woxsen design test 2024 eligibility criteria mentioned by Woxsen University.

• Applicants should have completed either Grade 10th/O level/Form IV/Secondary School equivalent to the Indian 10th or 12th grade examination, outside India.

• Furthermore, candidates should have successfully completed Grade 12th/10+2/A level/Form VI/Higher Secondary School in any discipline from a recognized board, securing a minimum aggregate of 60%.

• Candidates need to satisfy the below English language requirements mentioned by the University.

English Language Requirements

All International Students who are applying for B.Des (Hons) programme must meet the one of the following English language requirements: 

• Candidates achieved a minimum of 60% marks in an English course in 10th/12th grade or Higher Education as stated above.

• Completed their eligibility qualification at a School/University where English is the language of instruction. Proof of this must be provided by the respective School/University.

• Attained an IELTS band score of 6.0.

• Secured a TOEFL (ICBT) score of 70 or equivalent in any of the TOEFL formats.

Note: The equivalency of the educational qualifications will be determined by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). If a qualification is not recognized by the AIU, the applicant must provide proof of equivalency from the Indian High Commission/Consulate in their respective country or the relevant statutory body, as applicable.

Woxsen University has started WDT 2024 registration form for the third round on its official website- woxsen.edu.in. The Woxsen Design Test application form 2024 the last date is April 20, 2024.  WDT 2024 application forms round 1 and 2 concluded on December 15, 2023 and March 24 respectively. Candidates who are interested and eligible can apply for WDT 2024 by providing the necessary details and documents. To complete the WDT 2024 application form, candidates are required to pay an application fee through online payment mode of Rs.1000.

Step 1: Visit the Woxsen Official Website- woxsen.edu.in.

Step 2: Click the ‘Apply Now’ button on the homepage.

Step 3: You will be redirected to the WDT 2024 registration page. Enter the valid details by clicking on the register button.

Step 4: Confirm your email ID and create the Login Credentials.

Step 5: Use your login credentials to access the dashboard and complete the WDT application form.

Step 6: Proceed to pay the Woxsen design test 2024 fees and submit.

Step 7: Take the printout copy of the submitted WDT application form for further references.

Woxsen University will release the Woxsen WDT 2024 admit card after completion of registration process. The admit card will only be issued to those who have properly completed and submitted their application forms. The admit card of the Woxsen WDT 2024 exam is a crucial document that candidates must remember to bring to the examination centre. 

If candidates face any difficulties in downloading the admit card, they are recommended to get in touch with the appropriate authorities for assistance. Before downloading the admit card, candidates should verify all the details listed on the WDT 2024 admit card. In addition to the WDT Exam Admit Card, candidates are required to bring one of the following original identification documents:

How to download admit cards for Woxsen WDT 2024 ?

Woxsen University will send the Woxsen WDT 2024 admit card notification to the students registered mails. Here are the steps to download the admit card of WDT 2024.

Step 1: Access your registered email account.

Step 2: Select the link received from Woxsen University.

Step 3: Click on the link “ WDT 2024 admit card“ download.

Step 4: The admit card for the WDT 2024 exam will be automatically downloaded in PDF format.

Step 5: Print a copy of the Woxsen design test 2024 hall ticket for future reference.

Woxsen WDT Entrance Exam 2024  Result

Woxsen design test 2024 results will be announced in the form of an offer letter. Candidates who pass the Woxsen WDT test 2024 will receive a provisional offer letter through their registered email ID. Candidates who are shortlisted will be invited to take a personal interview.

• Woxsen Design Test 2024 results will be displayed.

• Print a copy of the Woxsen WDT 2024 scorecard for further reference. 

Candidates aspiring to join the B.Des programme at Woxsen University  through the Woxsen Design Test, candidates need to follow the following procedure: 

• Application Submission: Candidates are required to fill out and submit the application form along with the statement of Purpose (SOP). The SOP should clearly state the candidate's motivation for pursuing the B.Des (Hon) course, achievements, and future goals.

• Woxsen Design Test: Candidates must take the WDT. The Woxsen Design Test is designed to evaluate the Candidate creative potential, general aptitude, and drawing /sketching skills. 

•  Alternative Test Scores: Candidates also have the option to submit their scores from other recognized tests such as NIFT, NID, UCEED, SAT, or CUET.

• Psychometric Test: Candidates who successfully clear the WDT are then invited to take a Psychometric Test. This test is designed to assess a candidate’s cognitive abilities and personality traits, covering areas such as verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, logical reasoning, writing, and more.

• Personal Interview: Finally, successful candidates are invited to participate in a Personal Interview round. The date for this will be communicated in advance. During the interview, the panel evaluates the candidates based on their creative abilities, knowledge of the subject, communication skills, and other competencies.

Once all these stages are successfully completed, the candidate will be offered admission to the B.Design course at Woxsen University. To secure their spot, the candidate will need to pay the requisite fees.
