The application form of NIFT 2018 can be submitted offline too. Aspirants seeking admissions to NIFT Bachelor of Design and Bachelor of Fashion Technology programmes could apply till December 29, 2017 (without late fee). Before filling the NIFT application form 2018, aspirants must know the NIFT 2018 eligibility criteria. Candidates must be of 23 years of age as on October 1, 2017 in order to fill the application form. The upper age limit is relaxed by a period of five years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/Differently Abled Person (PHP). Also, they must have cleared the +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination.

How to fill NIFT Application Form 2018?

Interested aspirants can check below the detailed procedure for registering online and filling the application form of NIFT 2018:

 

NIFT 2018 Online Registration Steps

  • Click on ‘Fresh Candidates to create Log In’ for NIFT 2018 registration.

  • Fill in information including candidate’s name, DOB, reserved category, valid e-mail ID. Select programme as well.

  • Candidates registered e-mail ID and Date of Birth is the login ID for NIFT 2018.

Filling NIFT Application Form 2018

  • Login with the registered email ID and date of birth to fill up NIFT 2018 application form.

  • Enter verification code and click on ‘Submit’ button.

  • The personal details provided while registering for NIFT 2018 are already filled.

  • Enter information like exam centre preference, parents’ details, gender, nationality, academic details, address and contact information.

  • Read declaration and select ‘I agree’ by clicking on check box.

  • Click on ‘Save’ button after cross verifying the information.

  • The photograph and signature have to be less than 50 KB in size, and in. jpg or .jpeg format.

  • Click on ‘Next’ to continue for next step of NIFT application form 2018.

Fee of NIFT Application Form 2018

The application fee of NIFT 2018 has to be paid through online payment gateway or via bank demand draft issued in favour of “NIFT HO” payable at New Delhi.

 

Fee for General/OBC (Non-Creamy) Category: Rs.1500 through payment gateway or demand draft

Fee for SC/ST/PHP Category: Rs.750 through payment gateway or demand draft

Mode of payment: Credit Card/Debit Card and Demand Draft

 

(A) Credit Card/Debit Card

Payments of NIFT 2018 application form fee (Rs.1500 or Rs.750) can be made through credit card/debit card. The bank and transaction charges on the fee of NIFT application form 2018 will be borne by the applicant.

 

(B) Demand Draft

Payment of NIFT 2018 application form fee (Rs.1500 in case of GEN/OBC candidates and Rs.750 in case of SC/ST/PHP candidates) can be made through bank demand draft. The demand draft should be issued in favour of “NIFT HO”, payable at New Delhi. The details of the demand draft are to be filled in the online NIFT application form 2018. Candidates are advised to carefully check name, date, amount and signature of the issuing authority on the demand draft before sending.

 

Candidates applying through demand draft are required to send the printout of the NIFT application form 2018, duly completed in all respect, along with demand draft on the following address:

The duly filled application form of NIFT 2018 should reach the above address on time. Incomplete forms or forms received late will not be accepted. Candidates are advised to keep the copy of printout and demand draft for future reference. They should keep a printout/photocopy of NIFT application form 2018 as well along with proof of payment.

 

Before starting to fill up NIFT 2018 online application, candidates must keep ready with them the following details/documents/information:

a) Valid Email ID 

b) Personal and Educational qualification details

c) Caste/Tribe/Class certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates)

d) Disability Certificate for Persons with Disabilities

e) Image of scanned photograph in jpg/jpeg format. The size should not exceed 50 KB.

f) Image of scanned signature in jpg/jpeg format. The size should not exceed 50 KB.

g) Demand Draft of requisite amount (Rs.1500 in case of GEN/OBC (Non-Creamy) candidates and Rs.750 in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates) drawn in favour of “NIFT HO”, payable at New Delhi in case making payment DD)

Question - What is the maximum age required to fill NIFT application form 2018?

Answer - The upper age limit for general category is 23 years. NIFT will provide 5 years relaxation for SC, ST and PHP candidates.

 

Question - What is the basic academic qualification required to apply for NIFT 2018?
Answer - Aspirants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board of education.

 

Question: Do I need to send printout of the NIFT application form 2018?

Answer: You have to send the printout of the filled NIFT 2018 application form along with demand draft only if you have paid the fee via DD.

Hi,

NO. NIFT does not come under HRD ministry and NIFT has nothing to deal with AICTE approval. Nift is an ISO certified institution and it comes under ministry of textiles .
