NIFT Application Form 2019 – National Institute of Fashion Technology will release NIFT 2019 application form in third week of October 2018. The NIFT application form 2019 can be submitted in offline mode too. Aspirants who are willing to get admission in undergraduate design programmes across sixteen campuses of NIFT should be aware about the application procedure in detail in order to avoid any error. Candidates seeking admissions to the offered Bachelor of Design and Bachelor of Fashion Technology programmes via NIFT 2019 can apply till the last week of December. Before applying, they must check the NIFT 2019 eligibility criteria and make sure that they fulfill the age and educational requirements. NIFT Eligibility Criteria 2019

As per eligibility criteria of NIFT 2019, applicants should be of 23 years of age as on October 1, 2018. The upper age limit is relaxed by a period of five years for those belonging to SC/ST/Differently Abled Person (PHP). Also, they must have passed class 12 exam in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination.

How to fill NIFT Application Form 2019?

The detailed procedure for registering online and filling the NIFT 2019 application form can be checked below:

 

Steps to be followed for NIFT 2019 Online Registration

  • Click on ‘Fresh Candidates to create Log In’ for registering.

  • Information regarding candidate’s name, date of birth, category, e-mail ID, etc. has to be filled. Programme should also be selected. 

  • Candidate’s registered e-mail ID and DOB is the login ID for NIFT 2019 application.

Filling NIFT Application Form 2019

  • Applicants will be required to log in using the registered email ID and DOB for filling NIFT 2019 application form.

  • They need to enter verification code and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

  • The personal details provided while registering for NIFT 2019 will be already filled.

  • Details including test centre preference, parents’ information, gender, academic particulars and contact information should be filled.

  • Candidates should carefully read the declaration, and click on the check box of ‘I agree’.

  • They should click on ‘Save’ button after cross verifying the information.

Uploading photograph and signature

  • The photograph and signature should not be more than 50 KB in size, and in. jpg or .jpeg format only.

  • Click on the ‘Next’ button to proceed to the next step.

NIFT Application Fee 2019

The application fee of NIFT 2019 has to be paid via online payment gateway or through bank demand draft issued in favour of “NIFT HO” payable at New Delhi.

(A) Credit Card/Debit Card

Payment of the NIFT application form fee can be done through credit card or debit card. The bank and transaction charges on the fee will be borne by the applicant.

 

(B) Demand Draft (DD)

Candidates can pay the application fee via demand draft as well. It should be drawn in favor of “NIFT HO”, payable at New Delhi. The details of the DD have to filled in the NIFT online application form 2019. Candidates should carefully check the name, date, amount and signature of the issuing authority on the demand draft before sending.

Those applying through DD should send the printout of the NIFT 2019 application form, carefully completed in all respects, along with demand draft to the following address:

The application should reach the above mentioned address on time. Incomplete forms or forms received late will not be accepted. They should keep the printout and DD for future reference. Photocopy of the application form of NIFT should also be kept.  

 

Below mentioned details/documents/information should be kept ready before filling the NIFT application form 2019:

  1. Valid Email ID

  2. Personal and Educational qualification details

  3. Disability Certificate for Persons with Disabilities

  4. Caste/Tribe/Class certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates)

  5. Debit/Credit Card details in case making online payment

  6. Image of scanned signature in jpg/jpeg format. The size should not exceed 50 KB.

  7. Image of scanned photograph in jpg/jpeg format. The size should not exceed 50 KB.

  8. Demand Draft of requisite amount (Rs.1500 in case of GEN/OBC (Non-Creamy) candidates and Rs.750 in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates) drawn in favour of “NIFT HO”, payable at New Delhi in case making payment DD)

FAQs related to NIFT Application Form 2019

Question- Is it mandatory to send printout of the application form?

Answer- You have to send the printout of the filled NIFT 2018 application form along with demand draft only if you have paid the fee via DD.

 

Question- What is the age requirement for filling the NIFT application form 2019?

Answer- The upper age limit for general category is 23 years. However, NIFT will provide relaxation of five years for SC, ST and PHP candidates.

 

Question- Can I select more than one programme?

Answer- No, more than one programme cannot be selected.

 

Question- Does NIFT provide any relaxation in the application fee for OBC category?

There will be no minimum required to attent the entrance exam of NIFT. But the thing is you have to be Qualified in the 12th. And you can apply when the result is out.
