Aspirants seeking admission to bachelor degree in Fashion & Apparel Design (B.Sc. - FAD) at the institute should know the AIFD WAT 2019 eligibility criteria before filling the application form. AIFD WAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Admissions at Army Institute of Fashion and Design will be provided to following:
Children of eligible serving Army personnel
Children of eligible ex-Army personnel
Wards of war widows/widows of the Army
Students belonging to following categories can fill AIFD WAT application form 2019:
Ward of ex-Army personnel granted/awarded regular pension, family pension, liberalized family pension or disability pension at the time of their demise, discharge, superannuation, release medical board/invalided medical board
Ward of serving Army personnel having at least ten years of continuous service in the army
Adopted/step children and children of remarried widows
Children of Army personnel who is adopted at least five years prior to applying for admission at AIFD
Stepchild provided that he/she is born from a marriage where at least one parent, who is otherwise eligible, belonged to the Army
Children of APS/MNS/TA Personnel
Educational Requirements for AIFD WAT 2019
Passing class 12 or equivalent exam from a board recognized by UGC/University with minimum 35% marks (any stream) is mandatory.
Those passing through distance education system or privately through NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) must have the same combination of subjects in standard 11 and 12.
Candidates will have to be certified as mentally and physically fit by MH/RHO/registered medical practitioner.
