The NIFT marks vs rank refers to the relationship between the marks obtained by the candidates in the exam and the rank allotted as per their performance. The rank is used to determine the eligibility and preference of the candidates for admission into the NIFT campuses and the preferred courses. The NIFT rank is also influenced by different factors such as the total number of applicants, the exam difficulty levels, the total seat availability, and the reservation criteria.
Generally, a higher mark indicates a lower rank, and vice-versa. A lower rank means a higher chance of getting admission into the desired programme and campus. However, there is no fixed NIFT cutoff mark or rank for admission into the courses, as it varies every year based on each category. For an idea, aspirants can check the previous year's cutoff marks of NIFT and the ranks allotted. The NIFT Cutoff 2025 will be released soon after the declaration of NIFT 2025 results at the official website.
The NIFT 2025 cutoff is the minimum score required by the candidate for admission into any of the NIFT campuses. NIFT cutoff is expected to be released in June 2025, following the declaration of the NIFT results. The NIFT cutoff will be published as a CMR (Closing Merit Rank) list, displaying the opening and closing ranks for each course at NIFT and the campuses.
