SEED Eligibility Criteria 2018 - Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID), Pune has declared SEED 2018 eligibility criteria for aspirants seeking admissions in the institute. To get admission in any of the offered undergraduate programmes, students will be required to qualify in SEED 2018. Only those candidates can appear in the design entrance exam, who fulfill the eligibility criteria of SEED 2018. It is responsibility of the students to make sure that they satisfy the prescribed academic requirements. Candidates having relevant portfolio will be preferred by the Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID). Final selection to Communication Design, Fashion Communication, Industrial Design and Fashion Design will be done on merit basis only. SET Design 2018 Eligibility Criteria
It is mandatory for candidates to pass 10+2 in any stream or equivalent or 10+3 diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education with at least 50% aggregate marks in the final examination (45% for ST/SC).
Having creative aptitude along with the relevant design skills is a pre-requisite. They should be adaptive to professional situations.
Aspirants, who fulfill the specified SEED eligibility criteria 2018, can register and submit their application form between January 29 and April 14, 2018.
Important- If at any stage it is found that a candidate does not fulfill the stated SEED eligibility criteria 2018, his/her candidature will be cancelled.
Symbiosis Institute of Design will conduct SEED 2018 on May 5 for allocating a total of 207 seats across Communication Design, Fashion Communication, Industrial Design and Fashion Design. Admissions will be done on merit basis only. The institute will offer Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme in below mentioned eight specializations-
