Symbiosis Institute of Design has notified the SEED 2026 exam date. The institute will conduct SEED 2026 on January 11, 2026, in online mode. Through the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design, candidates will be admitted into the B.Des programme of SID. The SID offers design specialisations in various areas such as fashion design, communication design, industrial design, and fashion communication.
There are five subjects in the SEED exam syllabus. The SEED exam subjects 2026 are given below -

After declaring the SEED result, the authorities will conduct a Portfolio Review Personal Interview (PRPI) round for shortlisted candidates. In the PRPI round, the candidates will be required to upload their portfolio and perform a task. The SEED selection process will be done based on the candidate’s cumulative score in the design entrance exam and the PRPI round.
The subjects for the SEED exam are visualisation, Observational, Perceptual, and Reasoning Abilities, Creative and Problem-Solving abilities, Application of Basic Knowledge of Science and Mathematics, and Art, Craft, Culture, Design, and Environment.
As per the SEED marking scheme, every question carries one mark, and there is no negative marking for wrong answers.
SEED is conducted in an online, remote, proctored mode.
