What is the MIT Design Aptitude Test?
The MIT Design Aptitude Test, or MIT DAT, is conducted jointly for admissions to the B.Des & M.Des programmes at MIT Institute of Design (MITID) Pune, MITID Indore (Avantika University-Ujjain), and MITID Shillong (MIT University Shillong). MIT DAT, which is now MIT DET (Design Entrance Test) is conducted for a duration of 3 hours at various test centres across India. (Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin (Kochi), Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, & Pune).
