CEED Entrance Exam 2026
The full form of CEED exam is Common Entrance Exam for Design which is conducted by IIT Bombay every year to select the best students for postgraduate and doctoral design studies. The CEED exam will be conducted in the month of January, and it is a design aptitude and drawing based exam. The duration of the CEED entrance exam is 3 hours and the candidates who want to join their desired college must qualify in CEED 2026.

The students willing to obtain admission through CEED 2026 must fulfil the CEED admission eligibility. The CEED exam eligibility 2026 will be released on the official website along with admission notification. The students must have completed a degree / diploma / postgraduate degree program of minimum 3 years after 12th class. The students who are appearing in the final exam of such programs in the year of application can also apply.

CEED Admission Registration 2026
The CEED exam 2026 admission registration is expected to begin in October 2025. The students need to fill up the CEED 2026 application form that will be made available on the official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in. The students need to take the following steps to fill the CEED application form 2026.
Visit the official website of CEED.
Fill in the details such as name, mobile number, and email address along with details of educational qualification and personal details.
The students need to submit relevant and original documents which includes their passport size photographs, signatures, educational qualifications, and certificate of caste / tribe/ PwD if applicable.
The students need to pay the application fee through net banking/ debit card / credit card.
Submit the CEED application form and download the same for future reference.

CEED Colleges Admission Process 2026
The students who qualify in the CEED entrance examination need to fill up individual application forms for the various colleges that they are interested in. These application forms will be accepted based on the CEED scores by the college followed by an entrance examination that will be conducted in the college itself. The students also need to go through personal interview rounds and group discussions as the final step in the admissions process. Based on all the final scores, the colleges will provide a merit list of the students for admission.
CEED Seat Allotment 2026
Based on the cumulative markings of the tests conducted, the institution will offer the students seats. The students need to pay the seat acceptance fees to confirm their seat allotment. The CEED counselling will be held in multiple rounds to offer admissions.

Hello,
Mdes is an excellent degree for creative people, and your job and compensation will improve as a result. You can, in fact, apply for MDES.
You must succeed in the CEED, an annual design entry test. The majority of Indian schools, including NITs and IITs, accept CEED scores as proof of eligibility for MDes.
A select few universities, like IIT Kanpur and IISC Bangalore , also accept GATE scores. Engineering students have a second opportunity to apply for MDes without having to submit a CEED score.
BE, BTech, BDes, or BArch with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50 percent (pass grades for SC/ST) are required.
GATE / CEED score (70 percent weighting) with an online design aptitude test and an interview make up the IISc Bangalore selection process (30 percent weightage).
