The full form of CEED exam is Common Entrance Exam for Design which is conducted by IIT Bombay every year to select the best students for postgraduate and doctoral design studies. The CEED exam will be conducted on January 18, 2026 and it is a design aptitude and drawing based exam. The duration of the CEED entrance exam is 3 hours and the candidates who want to join their desired college must qualify in CEED 2026.

CEED Admission Registration 2026

The CEED exam 2026 admission registration began on October 1, 2025. The students need to fill up the CEED 2026 application form that is available on the official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in. The students need to take the following steps to fill the CEED application form 2026.

CEED Colleges Admission Process 2026

The students who qualify in the CEED entrance examination need to fill up individual application forms for the various colleges that they are interested in. These application forms will be accepted based on the CEED scores by the college followed by an entrance examination that will be conducted in the college itself. The students also need to go through personal interview rounds and group discussions as the final step in the admissions process. Based on all the final scores, the colleges will provide a merit list of the students for admission.

CEED Seat Allotment 2026

While the CEED score is important, most of the institutes use full selection process that includes your CEED score(Part A and B), Portfolio and often an interview or studio tests.Your 6 years of experience, strong portfolio and relevant coursera certificates can add significant value during admission in IITDM, Srishti etc which consider the overall profile not just the rank.
