From the list of all registered candidates, a certain number of candidates shall be called for Aptitude Test (AT) and Personal Interview (PI). Invitation letters shall be sent to the shortlisted candidates for AT and PI through email. This information will also be available on Department website/Institute website.
IIT Roorkee MDes Admission: Selection Process
Based on the aggregate performance, a merit list will be prepared offering provisional admission to the aspirants for MDes programme at IIT Roorkee. The aspirants will receive the provisional admission offer letter through email. All shortlisted candidates will have to deposit full fee latest by the date specified in the provisional admission offer letter, failing which their candidature for admission may stand cancelled. The selected candidates will have to register physically as per the schedule that will be released.

If you have any desire to take B des course in movement After twelfth class and after B des, M des configuration course in activity then you need to show up for entrance test like NIFT entrance, UCEED,CEED,NID entrance, NATA,. Under CEED Institute which offered M.des to the candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Architecture / Design/ Interior Design or equivalent (4 years duration after 10+2) not allowed candidates with B.A or b.sc but you can do Mdes in IIT Hyderabad they offer course after completing Master’s degree in Arts / Science / Computer Applications (2 year programme after10+2+3).
