The authorities also opened the NIFT 2026 answer key challenge window from February 17 to 19, 2026.     • Passed the 10 + 2 from a recognised central or state with Physics and Mathematics as subjects.

    OR

    • Pass grade in the senior secondary school examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of 5 subjects including Physics and Mathematics

    OR

    • Any public school/board/university examination in India or a foreign country recognised by the association of Indian universities as equivalent to 10 + 2 Level system in India with physics and maths as subjects.

    OR

    • General certificate education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/ Sri Lanka) at advanced (A) Level /International Baccalaureate (IB) with Mathematics and Physics are compulsory subjects.

    OR

    • Candidates appearing in the board exam in the year of admission are also eligible to apply provided they have obtained the pass certificate by the time of admission.

    Age Limit

    Candidates must be below the prescribed age limit of 24 years as on the given date. Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

    NIFT B.FTech Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2026

    The NIFT B.FTech syllabus 2026 consists of the the NIFT GAT syllabus. Candidates have to appear for both parts of the NIFT GAT. They do not have to appear for CAT. The NIFT syllabus for B.FTech will have sections on communication ability, english, quantitative ability, analytical and logical ability, GK and case study.

    While Part A will be conducted for two hours, Part B will be conducted for one hour. The NIFT B.FTech 2026 will be conducted in both English and Hindi.
