For the candidates to apply, a common BDes application form 2026 will be made available on the IIT Bombay Admissions Portal from October onwards. The UCEED entrance exam will be held on January 18, 2026. The IIT BDes application form fee is a non-refundable and non-transferable fee that covers the counselling and seat allotment process. The BDes courses in IIT has different curriculum and specialisation areas at each IIT.
Candidates who enroll in the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme at the IITs have to pay different types of fees, such as tuition fees, hostel fees, and other charges. The amount of IIT Bdes fees depends on the category and the institute of the candidate. At the time of admission, the respective institutes will announce the IIT BDes fee structure for the academic year 2026–2027. The IIT Bombay BDes fees is provided below.
