The IIT BDes admissions will be conducted as part of the centralised UCEED counselling process. Candidates who qualify in UCEED 2027 are eligible for admission into the BDes programmes at IITs. The participating IITs offer BDes programme in various design specialisations such as product design, communication design, interaction design, and more. As per the eligibility criteria for IIITDM Jabalpur, students must have physics, chemistry and biology/mathematics as subjects in Class 12. IIT Guwahati and IIT Roorkee require students to opt for physics, chemistry, and mathematics as compulsory subjects in class 12th. Candidates from all streams can apply for IIT Bombay, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Indore.
