NIFT PG Entrance Exam 2025: Registration (Open), Exam Date (Feb 9), Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus, Preparation

It is mandatory for the design aspirants to meet the NIFT PG eligibility criteria before proceeding to fill the NIFT PG application form 2025. Candidates can check the NIFT PG eligibility criteria 2025 specified as below.

For MDes & MFM Programmes:

• Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for MDes and MFM programmes.

• Academic Qualification: Candidates who completed their undergraduate degree in any discipline from any recognized  Institute/University. Also, the students who passed their undergraduate 3 years diploma from NIFT/NID.

For MFTech programme: 

• Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for the MFTech programme.

• Academic Qualification: Candidates who completed their BFTech. from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT)

(or)

• B.E/B.Tech. from any recognized institute or university.

NOTE: The applicants appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

NTA has released the NIFT PG 2025 application form on its official website - exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT. The NIFT PG registration form has been released on November 22, 2024. The authorities released the NIFT PG 2025 official brochure along with the NIFT notification 2025. Aspirants need to keep an eye on the official website for the release of NIFT PG application dates 2025.

How to apply for NIFT PG exam 2025?

The aspirants willing to seek admission to the PG courses are required to meet the eligibility criteria and apply for the NIFT PG 2025 exam. Here are the steps to fill the NIFT PG 2025 application form. 

• Visit the official website - exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT or nift.ac.in

• Login using the ID and password allotted during NIFT PG registration.

• Fill in the required details in the NIFT PG application form 2025.

• Upload all the required documents.

• Pay the NIFT PG application fee.

• Submit and take the printout for further admission process. 

NIFT authorities released the NIFT PG exam pattern 2025 through the official brochure online. The NIFT PG 2025 exam pattern consists of the types of questions, total number of questions, mode and duration of the exam. NIFT PG entrance exam consists of two test sections - GAT (General Ability Test) and CAT (Creative Ability Test). The shortlisted candidates need to appear for a personal interview round (PI). The candidates shortlisted for the Masters programmes after the written entrance exam are required to undergo a Personal Interview (PI) round. 

Note: The number of questions in each section and each course may vary from year to year. Also, the difficulty levels in the questions for all courses may vary. 

The National Testing Agency will issue the NIFT PG 2025 exam admit card online. The schedule to download the NIFT PG exam admit card 2025 will be made available at exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT in January, tentatively. Candidates need to enter their login credentials to download the NIFT PG 2025 admit card.  NIFT PG admit card contains details such as the candidate’s name,  date of birth, application number, category, exam centre code, name and address, course name, reporting time and candidate’s signature.

Candidates have to take a printout of the NIFT PG exam admit card 2025 and carry it to the exam centre on the examination day. Also,  along with the NIFT PG 2025 admit card the candidates have to carry a valid photo identity proof to the examination centre on the day of exam.

• Click submit.

• Calculate the score.

The NTA will declare the NIFT PG 2025 exam result of the written test in February tentatively. 3. Login using the application number and password/date of birth.

4. Click 'Submit'.

5. The NIFT PG 2025 results will appear on the screen.

6. Click on the ‘download’ button.

7. Take a printout of the downloaded NIFT PG results 2025 for further admission process.

The NIFT PG 2025 exam cutoff will be released at the official website - nift.ac.in by the authorities. The NIFT PG cutoff 2025 is the minimum score required for candidates to qualify to obtain admission into the NIFT PG programmes. The NIFT PG 2025 exam cutoff will be based on different factors such as the difficulty levels of the exam, total number of applications, the number of candidates appeared for the exam, and the number of available seats.  The NIFT PG cutoff 2025 varies every year.

During the NIFT PG counselling process, the selected candidates will be allocated seats as per preference in various NIFT campuses based on the ranks.

• Registration: Candidates have to register online for the NIFT PG counselling process.

• Choice Filling: During the NIFT PG counselling registration process, the candidates need to select their preferred campuses.

• Seat Allotment: NIFT PG seats to the candidates will be allotted based on rank obtained, preference, and the seat availability.
