    About NIFT PG 2026

    The National Testing Agency has released the NIFT PG 2026 provisional answer key on February 17, 2026. Candidates can also submit their challenges to the answer key through their login till February 19, 2026 upto 11:50 pm. After considering the valid objections, the authorities will release the NIFT PG 2026 final answer key. The NIFT PG entrance exam was conducted on February 8, 2026. Shortlisted candidates from the exam will be called for the interview. The NIFT 2026 schedule for PG admissions is provided in the exam notification. The selection process in NIFT PG 2026 consists of the entrance exam and the interview. Candidates who are shortlisted in the entrance exam will be called for the interview for the specific programme they have applied for. Candidates will be called for the NIFT PG counselling based on their performance in the exam and the interview. NTA has closed the NIFT PG registrations and application correction window. 

    The National Institute of Fashion Technology campuses offer PG courses in the design field such as M.Design, M.F.M, and M.F.Tech. The NIFT seat allotment is done based on the NIFT PG cut-off 2026 determined through the candidate's rank and the NIFT preferences submitted by them.  Candidates have to clear the NIFT PG cut-off for each round of counselling to obtain a seat allotment.

    What is the NIFT PG Entrance Exam?

    The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the NIFT PG entrance exam for applicants to secure admission into PG programmes of NIFT campuses admission into NIFT PG courses. NIFT offers various PG design programmes such as Master of Design (MDes), Master of Fashion Management (MFM), and Master of Fashion Technology (MFTech) for a 2-year duration.     The NTA has released the NIFT PG 2026 provisional answer key on February 17, 2026. Candidates can use the NIFT PG answer key 2026 to check their responses and estimate their probable scores before the release of NIFT PG final results. 

    The authorities also opened an answer key challenge window till February 19 upto 11:50 pm, for the candidates to raise objections, if any.     It is mandatory for the design aspirants to meet the NIFT PG 2026 eligibility criteria before proceeding to fill the NIFT PG application form.     For the MFTech programme: 

    • Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for the MFTech programme.

    • Academic Qualification: Candidates who completed their BFTech. from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT)

    The NIFT PG exam pattern 2026 will be published in the official brochure published on the official website - nift.ac.in. The NIFT PG 2026 exam pattern informs the candidates about the type of questions, total number of questions, mode, and duration of the exam.                                                                             The National Testing Agency released the NIFT PG 2026 admit card on February 4, 2025 on its official website - exams.nta.nic.in/niftee. Candidates need to enter their login credentials to download the NIFT PG 2026 admit card. The NIFT 2026 city intimation slip has been issued on January 29, 2026.

                                                                            The NIFT PG admit card contains details such as the candidate’s name, date of birth, application number, category, exam centre code, name and address, course name, reporting time, and candidate’s signature.  Candidates have to take a printout of the NIFT PG exam admit card 2026 and carry it to the exam centre on the interview day. Also, along with the NIFT PG 2026 admit card, the candidates have to carry a valid photo identity proof to the examination centre.
