Aspiring candidates willing to seek NIFT PG design admission must check their eligibility criteria. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the NIFT PG eligibility criteria 2026 online at exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT or nift.ac.in. NIFT offers master programmes such as MDes, MFM or MFTech. Aspirants planning to obtain admission into these courses at National Institute of Fashion Technology have to meet the eligibility criteria before applying. According to the NIFT eligibility criteria 2026, the students are required to complete minimum under graduation degree to be eligible to apply for PG courses. The NIFT PG 2026 eligibility criteria describes that the students will need to have an undergraduate degree or equivalent to be eligible for PG courses at NIFT. The minimum educational qualification of NIFT PG eligibility criteria is listed below for the different courses.
For the Master of Design Course, the students need to have an undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised Institute by the law of India.
The students can also have an undergraduate diploma of minimum 3 years duration, from either NIFT or NID.
The students applying for the Master of Fashion Management need to have an undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university in India.
Also, they may have an undergraduate diploma of minimum 3 years duration from NIFT or NID.
For the Master of Fashion Technology programme, the students need to have an undergraduate degree of B.F.Tech from NIFT.
Or the applicants can have BE/BTech from a recognised university in India.
The aspirants applying must know that the NIFT PG eligibility criteria also has a NIFT PG age limit that is included in it. As the NIFT 2026 eligibility criteria is yet to be released, meanwhile candidates can refer to the NIFT PG eligibility of the previous year. There is no NIFT PG age limit for the students to apply for NIFT 2026.
