The Maharashtra CET Cell has notified the MAH AAC CET 2026 exam date on the official website - cetcell.mahacet.org. It will conduct the MAH AAC CET exam 2026 on April 10, 2026. The detailed MAH AAC CET 2026 notification will be released soon. The MAH AAC CET syllabus 2026 will evaluate the candidates on the design practical, object drawing, memory drawing, and theoretical knowledge about the arts. Candidates with a valid score in the MAH AAC CET 2026 exam will be able to participate in the counselling process.
The authorities will tentatively conduct two rounds of MAH AAC CET 2025 counselling. The seat allotment will be done based on the college preferences and the ranks obtained by the candidate in the exam. Candidates who obtain MAH AAC CET seat allotment must report to the colleges within the prescribed deadline.
What is MAH AAC CET exam?
The CET Cell conducts the MAH AAC CET exam. The full form of MAH AAC CET is Maharashtra Applied Arts and Crafts Common Entrance Test. The Maharashtra AAC CET exam will be divided into two types: practical and general knowledge examination papers. The practical examination is further divided into object drawing, design, and memory drawing practical examinations. MAH AAC CET Maharashtra AAC Common Entrance Test (session 2026)
The CET Cell Maharashtra prescribes the MAH AAC CET 2026 eligibility criteria on its official website - cetcell.mahacet.org. Given below are the details of the eligibility criteria.
Educational Qualification - Candidate should have completed 10+2 examination in any discipline from a recognized university. Further, candidates must also have pursued English as one of the language subjects.
Minimum required marks - Candidates belonging to the general category of Maharashtra and all categories from other states are required to have passed their qualifying exam with a minimum of 45%, while the SC/ST candidates of Maharashtra must have completed their graduation with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks.
Age Limit - There is no age limit to appear in the MAH AAC CET examination.
The CET Cell Maharashtra is expected to open the MAH AAC CET 2026 application form tentatively in December 2025. Candidates can submit the MAH AAC CET application form 2026 from the official website - cetcell.mahacet.org. The form-filling process for MAH AAC CET 2026 included the following:

The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra will issue the MAH AAC CET 2026 admit card in online mode. Candidates must download the same from the official website by entering the requisite details. It may be noted that the candidates who successfully fill the application form will be able to access their MAH AAC CET admit card 2026.
Steps to download MAH AAC CET admit card 2026

The MAH AAC CET 2026 result will be declared tentatively in May 2026. Candidates can download their MAH AAC CET 2026 scorecard in online mode at cetcell.mahhacet.org. Those candidates who appear in the MAH AAC CET exam can check their results by entering their credentials on the portal. The scorecard of MAH AAC CET 2026 is shared in the form of a merit list, which makes it easy to access.
The MAH AAC CET 2026 result will be declared in online mode only. Candidates will be given the opportunity to raise objections regarding the marks obtained in the scorecard in May 2026. The candidates with a valid score have to proceed with the counselling process for admission.
State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will notify the MAH AAC CET 2026 counselling process on the official admission portal. Candidates with a valid score in the exam will be able to register and participate in the MAH AAC CET counselling 2026 process. The authorities will conduct multiple MAH AAC CET CAP 2026 rounds.
The counselling process will consist of the following steps:
Registration: Firstly, the candidates will have to register through the official website. Personal, contact and category details have to be provided and a security question has to be selected and answered. Candidates will also have to create a password.
Qualifying Details: Next, the candidates will have to provide their 10th and 12th standard subject-wise and total scores. Details about MAH AAC CET exam also has to be entered.
Uploading of Scanned Images: Photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities have to be uploaded.
Payment of Counselling Fee: The candidates who did not register for MAH AAC CET will have to pay the counselling fee in online mode.
Print out of Counselling Form: Candidates will have to print out the counselling form verification purpose.
Documents E-verification: The original documents have to be submitted for E-verification by the candidates in online mode for Application Form confirmation. (Online Scrutiny of Documents through CAP Agency).
Merit List: The names of the shortlisted candidates will be present in the merit list. Candidates can submit grievances in case of any issue. The final merit list will be published by the authorities after the grievance submission window is closed.
Option Filling: Next, candidates will be given the option to submit their college preferences through their login.
Seat Allotment: Finally, the seat allotment will be published according to their merit, preferences, category and availability of seats. The selected candidates will have to download their allotment letter and report to their nearest admission reporting centres to practise any of these options - freeze, float or slide. Finally, the candidates will have to report to their allotted institute to confirm their admission.

MHT CET is an engineering/pharmacy entrance exam, while MPSC is a state civil services exam. For MPSC, you only need a graduation degree from a recognized university, your CET score has no role in eligibility or selection.
