The NID authorities will conduct NID DAT BDes 2026 prelims on December 21, 2025. The NID BDes Prelims 2026 results will be made available on April 7, 2026, at admissions.nid.edu. Candidates should download their NID DAT 2026 BDes result by using their login credentials such as email address and date of birth. Candidates shortlisted in the NID DAT prelims will be called to attend the NID DAT mains exam.

As per the revised NID selection process, the NID prelims result will be used only as a qualifying exam and it will not have any weightage in the final selection of the candidate.

NID DAT B.Des Mains Result 2026

The shortlisted candidates from NID DAT Prelims will only be eligible to appear for the DAT Mains exam 2026. Candidates can also check the BDes DAT Mains exam date at admissions.nid.edu. The exact timings of the B.Des studio test will be mentioned in the NID admit card. The NID DAT Mains studio test for BDes will be conducted tentatively in May 2026 as per the previous year trends.

As per the revised selection process, the studio sensitivity test carries 60% weightage and in-person sensitivity carries 40% weightage in the NID DAT B.Des final result 2026.

Do ipu accept nid DAT prelims score for bdes program

No, IPU (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) does not accept NID DAT Prelims score for admission to the B.Des (Bachelor of Design) program.

Instead, IPU conducts its own entrance test or may consider CUET (UG) scores for B.Des admissions, depending on the latest admission guidelines. Always refer to the university's official prospectus for the year you're applying to for the final admission criteria.
