UCEED 2026 is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admission to undergraduate design programs at IITs and leading design institutes across India. The exam is divided into two sections: Part A and Part B. Candidates must attempt both the sections to be considered for ranking and admission. Only candidates who meet the UCEED Part A qualifying cutoff will have their Part B responses evaluated.

In UCEED counselling for DTU, Round 1 allocates seats based on rank and preferences. Later rounds re-allot vacant seats, letting candidates float for better options or freeze current seats. Spots rounds fill remaining seats. Rounds differ in seat availability and chances to improve allotment.
