Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will publish the SEED 2026 notification on the official website - sid.edu.in. The notification will include the complete SEED 2026 dates. The SEED 2026 application form will tentatively open in August 2025. Interested applicants who meet the SEED eligibility criteria 2026 can complete SEED 2026 registration online. The institute will conduct SEED 2026 tentatively in the second week of January 2026 in online mode. Candidates shortlisted from the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design will be offered admission into various B.Des programmes of the SID. The courses in Symbiosis B.Des admissions include B.Des Communication Design, B.Des Industrial Design, B.Des Fashion Design, and B.Des Fashion Communication.
Candidates who passed the 10+2 exam from any stream or equivalent or a 10+3 diploma with 50 percent (45 percent for reserved categories like SC/ST) recognized or approved by the state board of technical education, are eligible to apply for the SEED exam 2026. The SEED 2026 syllabus includes topics on visualisation, observational, perceptual, and reasoning abilities, problem solving, creativity, basic science and maths, and arts and culture. As per the SEED 2026 exam pattern, there will be 60 questions to be answered within a duration of 60 minutes. The SEED exam pattern includes multiple choice questions.

Candidates desirous of seeking admission to SID for design programmes need to appear for the SEED entrance examination. Qualified candidates are shortlisted in the PRPI round. Candidates who are shortlisted in the PRPI rounds need to slot book for the personal interaction and upload their portfolios before the specified date. The authorities will issue the PRPI admit card as per the schedule. PRPI will be held in two phases. Candidates who will be shortlisted in the SEED final merit list 2026 will be shortlisted for further processing.
