FDDI Admission 2026 - Overview

• FDDI admissions are based on the merit/rank achieved by the candidate in the AIST entrance examination 2026 or UCEED.
• The candidates are called for FDDI counselling based on their ranks scored in the AIST 2026 entrance exam.
• The seat allocation depends on the merit and the campus preference of the candidate.
• The selected candidates will have to pay an amount of Rs.25,000/- at the time of counselling/admission to reserve their seats.
• This will include the registration fee of Rs.10,000/- and Rs.15,000/- as the advance against the balance fee.
• Candidates will have to pay the remaining amount within 10 working days from the date of reservation of the seat.

Candidates seeking admission to FDDI need to register for the FDDI AIST 2026 entrance examination through the official website, fddiindia.com. Given below are the steps to complete the FDDI AIST 2026 registration process.

Eligibility Criteria for FDDI Admission 2026

The FDDI eligibility criteria required for the candidates to apply for the AIST 2026 entrance exam is as follows. Candidates can also find the FDDI AIST 2026 eligibility criteria at the official website.

For the B.Des Programme

1. A candidate who has cleared

• 10+2 in any stream from a recognised Board or

• Any School or Board, or University examination in India or a Foreign country that is recognised by AIU as an equivalent

• School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a five subjects minimum

2. Candidates who have appeared for the examinations mentioned above but are yet to receive their scores or certificates will be granted provisional admission. They need to submit the scores by September 30, 2026 to avoid having their admission revoked

3. Age limit for the Bachelor’s programme shall be 25 years as on the 1st July 2026.

For the M.Des Programme

1. M.Des. (Footwear Design & Production): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised Indian university. Candidates without a prior design background require bridge courses with 2-3 relevant subjects.

2. M.Des. (Fashion Design): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised Indian university.

3. Candidates Awaiting Results: They will be eligible for provisional admission, but the final result must be submitted by September 30, 2026.

4. Age Limit: No age restriction for M.Des. or MBA programmes.

FDDI Admission 2026: Seat Matrix

FDDI Admission Admit Card 2026

Candidates who submit the application form successfully for the entrance exam to obtain FDDI admission 2026 will only be issued with the admit card. The FDDI AIST admit card will be made available online for download. All the candidates who registered for AIST 2026 will be communicated through email to download the AIST 2026 admit card.

All the registered candidates need to download the FDDI AIST 2026 admit card from the official website - fddiindia.com using their application number and date of birth as the login credentials. Here are the steps to download the AIST 2026 admit card.

• The AIST 2026 admit card will contain the test name, date of the test, details of the test center, roll number, candidate name, etc.

FDDI AIST Admission Result 2026

The FDDI AIST 2026 results will be declared tentatively in June. The FDDI AIST result 2026 will be made available in the form of a merit list on the official website, fddiindia.com. Candidates are advised to log in using the login credentials to check and download the FDDI AIST 2026 results.

Note: The FDDI entrance exam 2026 results will be made available only on the official website. Any other communication, either through post or another mode, will not be sent to the candidates.

FDDI 2026 Counselling Process

The shortlisted candidates must appear for FDDI counselling 2026. The authorities will conduct the online FDDI counselling from second week of June 2026 onwards tentatively. The FDDI 2026 counselling will be conducted in online mode. The last date to make counselling fee payment and choice filling will be in the first week of July 2026.

The shortlisted candidates are informed of FDDI counselling based on their rank and scores achieved in the AIST 2026 entrance examination. Candidates need to pay the semester fee by July 15, 2026, to confirm their FDDI admission.
