FDDI Admission 2026 - Overview

• FDDI admissions are based on the merit/rank achieved by the candidate in the AIST entrance examination 2026 or UCEED.
• The candidates are called for FDDI counselling based on their ranks scored in the AIST 2026 entrance exam.
• The seat allocation depends on the merit and the campus preference of the candidate.
• The selected candidates will have to pay an amount of Rs.25,000/- at the time of counselling/admission to reserve their seats.
• This will include the registration fee of Rs.10,000/- and Rs.15,000/- as the advance against the balance fee.
• Candidates will have to pay the remaining amount within 10 working days from the date of reservation of the seat.

Eligibility Criteria for FDDI Admission 2026

The FDDI eligibility criteria required for the candidates to apply for the AIST 2026 entrance exam is as follows. Candidates can also find the FDDI AIST 2026 eligibility criteria at the official website after its release.

Eligibility for FDDI admissions for B.Des program:

• Candidates who have passed 10+2 from any recognized Board or any school/board/university in India or in a foreign country that is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to the 10+2 system, or
• Candidates should have passed the school examination conducted by the National Open School with five subjects as minimum, or
• AICTE approved a three-year full-time Diploma from the Board of Technical Education of any state or Union territory
• The candidate as of July 1, 2026, shall be of 25 years age.

Eligibility for FDDI admissions M.Des program:

• Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any institute/university recognised by law in India.
• There is no age limit for the candidates for the M.Des program.

FDDI Admission Admit Card 2026

Candidates who submit the application form successfully for the entrance exam to obtain FDDI admission 2026 will only be issued with the admit card. The FDDI AIST admit card will be made available online for download. All the candidates who registered for AIST 2026 will be communicated through email to download the AIST 2026 admit card.

All the registered candidates need to download the FDDI AIST 2026 admit card from the official website - fddiindia.com using their application number and date of birth as the login credentials. Here are the steps to download the AIST 2026 admit card.

FDDI 2026 Counselling Process

The shortlisted candidates must appear for FDDI counselling 2026. The authorities will conduct the online FDDI counselling from second week of June 2026 onwards. The FDDI 2026 counselling will be conducted in online mode. The last date to make counselling fee payment and choice filling will be in the first week of July 2026.
