The Footwear Design and Development Institute will be conducting the FDDI AIST 2026 entrance exam for the PG level intended for candidates looking to join programmes at the M.Des level at FDDI. Candidates can fill out the FDDI Application Form 2026 between December 20, 2025, onwards till April 20, 2026, without a late fee. The FDDI Admit Card will be available from May 1, 2026, and candidates can appear for the FDDI PG exam on May 10, 2026. Candidates appearing for the FDDI PG entrance exam need to make sure that they fulfill the necessary eligibility criteria before admission to the FDDI PG course. The details regarding the FDDI eligibility criteria 2026 has been mentioned below.
M.Des. in Footwear Design & Production: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an institute or university recognized by law in India. Candidates without a design background may be required to complete a bridge programme consisting of two to three relevant subjects to gain essential design knowledge.
M.Des. in Fashion Design: Candidates should have completed a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized institute or university in India.
MBA in Retail & Fashion Merchandise: Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian university or institution.
Candidates Awaiting Results: Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying Bachelor’s examination for the above programmes but whose results are pending at the time of admission are eligible to apply. If selected, they will be offered provisional admission and must submit their final results to the concerned Admission In-Charge on or before 30 September 2026. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of admission and forfeiture of fees. Proof of appearing in the final examination must be presented during the counselling process.
Age Limit: There is no age restriction for admission to the Master’s degree programmes (M.Des. / MBA).

Visit the official FDDI website and select the option for fresh candidate login
Enter the required details to register for the chosen programme using a valid email ID
Submit the registration form as details cannot be edited once submitted
Login credentials and confirmation will be sent to the registered email ID
The registered email ID and date of birth will be used for all future logins
Before starting the application process, candidates should keep the following information ready and details ready

Personal and academic qualification details
Category certificate for SC, ST or OBC Non-Creamy candidates if applicable
