IIT Bombay conducted the UCEED 2026 entrance exam on January 18, 2026, for admission into the IIT B.Des programmes.

UCEED 2026 Expected Cutoff

Candidates have to clear two types of UCEED cut-offs. First, they must obtain the minimum qualifying marks for part A of UCEED 2026. Only such candidates will then be evaluated for their performance in part B. The UCEED 2026 analysis indicates that the question paper was relatively easy, which means the UCEED expected cutoff 2026 will trend on the higher side. Given below are the UCEED cutoff predictions for part A and B.

UCEED Expected Cutoff 2026 for Part A

UCEED Part A was for 200 marks. The expected UCEED cut-off 2026 for the general category will be determined by adding half the standard deviation of the mark distribution of all candidates’ marks in Part A to the average marks of all candidates in Part A.

For the OBC and EWS categories, the expected UCEED 2026 cut-off marks for Part A will be 0.9 times that of the general category. For the SC and ST category, the expected UCEED cut-off 2026 will be 0.5 times that of the general category.

The mean and standard deviation for Part-A (UCEED 2026) are 70.86 and 25.77, respectively.

Good Score to Clear Overall UCEED Expected Cut-Off 2026

The exam analysis and trends indicate that a good score in UCEED 2026 is expected to be around 125 to 150+ marks out of 300 marks. The UCEED 2026 cut-off rank will be determined by combining the scores of the candidate in parts A and B of the exam.

The UCEED expected cutoff 2026 for the open category will be determined based on the All India rank. However, for other categories, the category rank will be considered to determine the UCEED 2026 expected cutoff.

What is the UCEED Expected Cutoff 2026?

The UCEED 2026 expected cut-off for the general category is expected to be a rank less than 100 to get an IIT B.Des seat.
