Expected Minimum Qualifying Score for UCEED 2026 Exam

UCEED cutoff marks in the minimum score required for a candidate to satisfy for admission to B.Des courses in IITs and other UCEED participating colleges. Since the UCEED exam was easier this year according to the student opinion, it is expected that the cutoffs will be higher. The UCEED cutoff marks vary for different sections and categories of the exam. The UCEED cutoff will be released along with the rank list which will show the rank of candidates on the basis of their UCEED scores. Know the UCEED exam pattern and syllabus: The UCEED syllabus covers topics related to design such as observation, visualization, creativity, reasoning, and language. The UCEED exam pattern consists of two parts: Part A (online) and Part B (offline). UCEED Part A has three types of questions: Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Part B has one question that requires drawing a solution to a given design problem.

In UCEED counselling for DTU, Round 1 allocates seats based on rank and preferences. Later rounds re-allot vacant seats, letting candidates float for better options or freeze current seats. Spots rounds fill remaining seats. Rounds differ in seat availability and chances to improve allotment.
