Hello Sir, I am Loganathan, it took me an extra 6 months to clear my B.Tech because of my backlogs, and I also got a pretty low score of 56%. Will this be any kind of problem if I clear CEED with a good percentile to get admission in IITs?? Looking forward to your reply. Thank You.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 10th Oct, 2019

hello aspirant,

its completely fine if you are preparing for ceed exam. however there is no percentile or age limit for ceed exam. but different institute has different graduation marks criteria for admission in m. design. like iit delhi needs atleast 60% marks in graduation , 55% for sc/st. so  if you are from general category you will not eligible to apply. as per your score you can apply in iit bombay, iit guwahati, iit hyderabad, iit kanpur, but you need to bring a really good score in ceed exam, unless as per your profile there is very little chances of selection.

I have one year gap between 10+2 and graduation, so can I apply for ceed in m.des?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 9th Oct, 2019

Dear Sanjay, there is no upper age limit for appearing for CEED and there is no cap on no.of attempts at CEED. For being eligible, you should have completed your Graduation/Diploma/Post graduation either in  4 or 3+2 years format. Candidates in their final year are also eligible. So, inspite of the break between 10+2 and graduation, you are eligible for CEED. For more information, please visit our page at: https://design.careers360.com/articles/ceed-eligibility-criteria

I had pass class 12 in 2017.Am i eligible for January attempt of jeemains for B.arch and CEED.

NILUTPOL Student Expert 19th Aug, 2019
Hello,
For Jee Mains a student gets three consecutive years for attempts. Every year a student gets two attempts to appear for the exams in January and April out of which the best one is counted in a year. As you have mentioned that you have completed your 12 in 2017 and that was the first year for your attempt in JEE mains. Then your next two consecutive attempts were in 2018 and 2019. So even if you didn't appear for the Jee mains attempts in the years 2017, 2018 or 2019, you are not eligible to appear for Jee mains 2020. Your jee mains attempts are exhausted. Please go for so e other private engineering colleges in India like Sharda, Amity etc
