NID DAT entrance exam (prelims) will be held on 29 December 2019 and the Mains will be held from 29 April to 3 May 2020.

In prelims you will be evaluated on your knowledge, comprehension, analysis, creativity and visualization.

In mains, you will be judged on different parameters like drawing/ sketching, hands on model making, group discussion and presentation.

This might not get solved now as candidates has got their admit cads now. The process is completed now. If it is showing the error message then you cant move forward. You have to apply again in the april session. You should have give a clear image. why you gave a image which would create a problem.

Dont repeat the mistake again and do it correctly in the coming session. For now try to write a mail writing your issue and ask for a solution. They may or may not consider it but write it.

For now just prepare and give your 100%. If you are not allowed for january session then don't get sad. you will do your best in april time. in any way one will be considered from both if anyone gives both.

So don't worry. stay calm and keep on preparing. whatever be the reason don't get diverted from your studies. This is most important time for you. don't waste it in any way.  You might be feeling bad but that will only harm you and waste your time.

You only think. what you want to do. Think and choose to study which will benefit you.

I recommend you to search for 'NIT DAT solved paper M Des' on youtube as well as there are many videos which provide solved pdf links in the description box and also provide solutions with good explanations.

NID will be held across 21 cities in India. The centers will be allotted on first cum first serve basis. Whichever center you might select, you need to be an hour early on the day of the exam.

NID DAT consists have 3  phases pf selection. Written Test, Studio Test and Personal Interview. Each phase is an elimination round. NID Exam will be conducted in 2 phases, Prelims and Mains. The preliminary exam will contain 70 Objective Questions and the shortlisted candidates will appear for Mains. This stage will contain practical tests like sketching, drawing, handcraft models, group discussion, etc.

For Stage 1 you should prepare well on topics like Communication skills, Animation, Composition, Creativity, General Mental Ability, Design skills, environment sensitivity, Visual design, Thematic color arrangement, Proportions and perspective, Abstract symbolism and Memory drawing.

For Stage 2, you need to focus on Doodling, 3D Modelling, Observation Test, Creative thinking, Audio visual experience, Body language, Material manipulation, Portfolio making, etc.
