It is not necessary that to prepare for GK section you cram up your mind with each and every General Knowledge book. Awareness about current happenings is more important. For this, read newspapers daily. Moreover, you should also know about famous designers who have contributed in this challenging field. Spend time on reading fashion & design books/magazines.

Hello Shivangi, though you have a little less time but it's sufficient for you to prepare for NID. Take note that NID is not only a Design based test but also it focuses on the individual's aptitude skills. Therefore I'd advise you to search about NID as much as possible and gain the information that's necessary. You can search the books for the preparation.

The last date to apply is November 15, and 22 with the late fine. Follow this four steps.

If you want to prepare well for NID DAT general knowledge and current affairs section, start reading newspapers. Read at least two dailies (Newspapers). It won’t only help you in your examination, but it will also help you in the long run (You will be better informed and this will give you a lot of confidence as well.    You can use any dry colours like sketch pen, oil pastel etc besides colour pencils for the NID DAT exam. Please also make sure to carry a black pen and pencils of different shades.
