The elgibilty required to write NID aptitude test is,

Candidates seeking admissions to the National Institute of Design must fulfill the eligibility criteria of NID DAT 2019 before applying. The requirements can be checked below: Aspirants up to 20 years of age on or before June 30, 2019, are eligible to apply. However, there is a relaxation of three years for those belonging to the reserved categories.Students, who have passed or will appear for class 12 examination in any stream in the academic year 2018–19 from any recognized board of education such as CBSE, IB, ICSE or their equivalent, can apply to appear for NID DAT 2019.

NID Aptitude test does not require learned answers it require out-of-the box answers. Make sure that you are regular in newspaper reading, you know the culture, dance forms, artists and different styles of paintings and which era they belong to. All this will be of great help in solving the paper.

You cannot change your email ID. Window to edit the NID DAT application form will be available but certain fields cannot be edited such as DOB, email ID, Category and citizenship.

Also, it was essential to provide the valid email address as it is only used for further communications. Also, candidates can log in into their accounts using the email ID and DOB that was provided during registration.

Candidates, who have passed or will be appearing for higher secondary (10+2) (any stream) qualifying examination in the academic year 2018-19 from a recognized board of education (CBSE, IB, ICSE, or their equivalent) can fill the online application form of NID DAT 2019.

So yes you can apply.

Now about the exam -

 It will comprise two parts:

Part 1: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) marked out of 70 points

Part 2: Subjective questions marked out of 30 points.
