If you want to prepare well for NID DAT general knowledge and current affairs section, start reading newspapers. Read at least two dailies (Newspapers). It won’t only help you in your examination, but it will also help you in the long run (You will be better informed and this will give you a lot of confidence as well. If you are looking for books that will help you with general knowledge and current affairs here are some of them –

   You can use any dry colours like sketch pen, oil pastel etc besides colour pencils for the NID DAT exam. Please also make sure to carry a black pen and pencils of different shades.

Can you please clarify whether you are asking for the NID entrance exam (DAT) or the institute's internal exam? Moreover, you want to know for UG programme or PG?

CAT tests your aptitude, so candidates having High IQ also score well with limited preparation.

Since the syllabus of DAT is vast, I would recommend you to give maximum time to DAT. Also, if you are serious about DAT then it would be logical to divert your efforts towards the same.

MBA can be done at any point of time and at any age so don't worry you can go for an MBA later too. 

Now coming to the preparation part,

• Read newspapers daily. especially the editorials.
• For quat, focus on arithmetic and geometry. Practice quant for at least one hour daily.
• DI minimum 2 sets daily.
• Apart from this, take mock tests around 2 per week and sectional and topic wise mocks per day.

This will be enough for your Cat preparation.

If any questions have multiple corect answers then options like All of these or Above two or such similarly options shall b egiven. 

Incase there are multiple correct answers then there are chances that authorities might award extra marks on those questions, and end of the day it would be management decision  

It would be tough to tell you about as officially there is no any information about it but Around 20,000 students appear every year for the National level design entrance exam NID DAT for a total of 100 undergraduate seats.
