CPDM IISC 2020 - Centre for Product Design and Manufacturing (CPMD), Indian Institute of Science cancelled the aptitude test/interview/GD-PI due to COVID 19 outbreak. As per the IISc Bangalore notification, the admission process will be conducted based on CEED/GATE score. The concerned authority released the application form for IISC DAT 2020 on February 1 in online mode. Candidates could fill the registration form till March 23. The examination authority earlier scheduled CPDM IISC design aptitude test 2020 on pen and paper basis from April 13 to 15, 2020. However, according to the newest notification, there will be no aptitude test/interview/GD-PI. CPDM IISC DAT 2020 is conducted to offer admission for Postgraduate in product design and engineering. Before filling the registration form, aspirants must ensure that they have fulfilled the prescribed eligibility criteria of CPDM IISC DAT 2020. Aspirants will receive mail to download the CPDM IISC admit card 2020 on their registered mail address. The examination authority will announce the result of the entrance exam in online mode. In accordance with the old admission process, students were supposed to offer admission on the basis of the mark scored by candidates in the entrance exam and interview. CPDM IISC Eligibility Criteria 2020

Students who are filling the application form must check the eligibility criteria of CPDM IISC. As per CPDM IISC DAT eligibility criteria, students with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Architecture. Candidates are shortlisted for the entrance test based on their score in GATE/CEED. In case the score is not available with candidates at the time of filling the form, they can mention their registration numbers of CEED/GATE. The shortlisted students for the aptitude test and interview will be intimated two weeks prior to the dates of interviews.

CPDM IISC Admit Card 2020

(This event will not be held as the entrance test has been cancelled). The admit card of CPDM DAT 2020 will be generated for shortlisted candidates who filled the application form and is accepted by the authority. The admit card of CPDM IISC 2020 will be sent on candidate's email ID. The admit card is an important document and candidates must not forget to carry it to their examination centres. What Documents are needed for CPDM DAT and Interview?

CPDM IISC Selection Process 2020

New Admission Process Criteria

As per the new admission process criteria, students will be offered admission completely based on the CEED/GATE score. There is no aptitude/interview/GD-PI due to novel coronavirus.

Old Admission selection process

Candidates will be selected based on the combined performance in CPDM IISC 2020 and interview. Those who are called for the test and interview will have to make arrangements for their travelling and accommodation on their own. Students who will be selected will be informed prior to two weeks of admission date. There will be no separate communication for students who will not be able to get through CPDM DAT. The session will begin on August 3, 2020 and students will have to report to the institute for the completion of admission formalities in fourth week of July 2020.
