A total of 76 candidates registered for the IIT MDes placement in Bombay, out of which 63 students took part in the placement procedure and 39 of them got placed. The IIT Bombay MDes placements percentage in the year 2022-23 was 61%.

IIT Hyderabad offers some of the best placements in the design field at masters level. The placement statistics of IIT Hyderabad for the academic year 2023-24 show that 12.12% of MDes students got placed with the highest package of Rs. 29.32 LPA. IIT Hyderabad MDes placements for the academic year 2022-23 reveals that 87.50% of students got placed this year with the highest package offer being Rs 15.08 LPA.
In the previous academic year 43 students registered out of which 35 got placed with a placement percentage of 81.40%. The highest salary offered in this year was Rs. 17.11 LPA. The placement percentage for the academic year 2020 – 2021 was 85.71%. In the academic year 2019-2020, 12 students registered for IIT Hyderabad MDes placements out of which all 12 of them got placed with the placement percentage being 100%. The average package offered in IIT Hyderabad MDes placement this year was Rs. 11.77 lakhs per annum.

One of the best design institutes in India providing post graduate level of design education is IIT Guwahati. For the academic year 2023-24 IIT Guwahati MDes placements reveal that 20 students got placed. In the sector of design 32 students registered out of which 10 got placed having a placement percentage of 31.25%. in the electronic product design sector 28 students registered and 10 got wasted with the placement percentage of 35.71%. The total IIT Guwahati MDes placement was 20 out of 60 students getting placed with the placement percentage of 33.33%. The maximum salary offered in IIT Guwahati MDes placement was Rs. 52 lakhs per annum and the average salary in the year 2023-24 was Rs. 21.94 lakhs per annum.
The placement record of the academic year 2022 – 23 shows that the placement percentage was 89.66%. the department of design witnessed 29 MDes students registered for the placements out of which 26 got placed with a placement percentage of 89.66%. The average package offered was Rs. 22,10,448 and the maximum CTC offered in the year 2022-23 was Rs 51,32,000. The international placements offered a maximum package of Rs 57.70 LPA. In the previous year MDes placements saw 31 students who registered for the placements and 23 of them getting placed and having a placement percentage of 74.19%.

If you have any desire to take B des course in movement After twelfth class and after B des, M des configuration course in activity then you need to show up for entrance test like NIFT entrance, UCEED,CEED,NID entrance, NATA,. Under CEED Institute which offered M.des to the candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Architecture / Design/ Interior Design or equivalent (4 years duration after 10+2) not allowed candidates with B.A or b.sc but you can do Mdes in IIT Hyderabad they offer course after completing Master’s degree in Arts / Science / Computer Applications (2 year programme after10+2+3).
