    Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay will release the list of CEED 2027 result-sharing institutes on its official website: ceed.iitb.ac.in. The list of CEED 2027 result-sharing institutes includes some of the best design colleges such as Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design & Technology, Jain University, Mahindra University, and more. Several colleges accepting CEED 2027 scores for their M.Des admission also feature among the top design colleges in India.     List of CEED 2027 Result Sharing Institutes

    Candidates willing to obtain admission into design colleges through CEED 2027 can check the result-sharing institutes on their official website. Admission to the postgraduate design programmes at the result-sharing institutes is done based on the scores of the CEED exam. Before proceeding to apply to the CEED 2027 result-sharing institutes, the applicants need to thoroughly study the required eligibility criteria of that particular institute.

    List of IITs (Indian Institute of Technology)

    Currently, there are 11 main IITs participating in the CEED exam. They are listed as IISc, Bengaluru, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, IIITDM Jabalpur, and IIITDM Kancheepuram. Aspirants who want to study design courses at these IITs must take the CEED 2027 exam. The CEED 2027 score will be valid for one year from the date the result is declared for the 2027 session.

    Eligibility for IIT MDes Programme

    The eligibility criteria for admission to the MDes programmes at various IITs are provided below.

    • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree/diploma/post graduate degree of a minimum of 3 years after their 10+2

    • Must be appearing for the final examination of the academic qualification by July 2027

    (or)

    • Must have passed the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level) by July 2027 of the academic year.

    • There is no prescribed age limit for the candidates to appear for the CEED 2027 exam.

    • Also, a candidate can appear for CEED any number of times.

    Entrance Exam: Aspirants who obtained the qualifying rank or score in CEED 2027 are eligible to apply for admission to the result-sharing institute.

    Qualifying examination: The qualifying exam required is the same as the CEED 2027 eligibility criteria. Provided below in the table are the qualification eligibility requirements as laid down by each campus.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Design/Engineering/Architecture/ Interior Design: 10+2+4 years (includes minimum four-year Bachelor’s course) or 10+3+3 years (Engineering Diploma and BE).
    • Professional Diploma in Design: 10+2+4 years (minimum four-year diploma program).
    • BFA (4-year professional program with entry after 10+2)
    • GD Art (4-year program after 1-year foundation. Minimum entry requirement: 10th pass).

    IIT Delhi MDes Admission

    • Minimum percentage of marks: General category candidates must have scored at least 55% marks; however, reserved categories can apply for admission with a minimum of 50% marks in their respective streams
    • Qualification in CEED 2027: Students applying for admission are required to have qualified the CEED entrance test and have a valid score. Candidates are required to possess the requisite degree, apart from the minimum percentage of marks scored in the qualifying exam

    IIT Guwahati MDes Admission

    • Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Design/ Engineering/ Architecture/ Interior Design or a Design related field with a minimum CPI of 6.0 out of 10 or a minimum 60 of marks, however, SC/ ST/ PwD candidates will have a relaxation of 0.5 CPI or by 5% marks which means a minimum CPI of 5.5 out of 10 or a minimum of 55 marks are required. (Or)
    • Four-year Professional Diploma in Design of NID or Professional Diploma of CEPT (5-year programme) with a minimum CPI of 6.0 out of 10 or a minimum of 60% marks, while SC/ ST/ PwD candidates will have relaxation of 0.5 CPI or by 5% marks, which means a minimum CPI of 5.5 out of 10 or a minimum of 55 marks are required. (Or)
    • Candidates appearing in the final semester can also apply for admission; however, they have to complete their degree before the second week of July 2027. Candidates will be given provisional admission, and they have to provide the results of their qualifying exam by the third week of August 2027. If the candidate fails to provide the required documents within the stipulated time, then their candidature will be automatically cancelled.

    IIT Hyderabad MDes Admission

    Should have a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST) or equivalent grades in the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Architecture / Design / Interior Design or equival4-year year program after 10+2)
    • Professional Diploma in Design (NID/CEPT or equivalent of a 4-year program after 10+2)
    • BFA (4-year professional program after 10+2)
    • Professional experience Master’s degree in Arts / Science / Computer Applications (2-year program after 10+2+3)

    IIT Jodhpur MDes Admission

    • A valid CEED scorecard (mandatory only for institute-sponsored seats).
    • A passing grade in any one of the following qualifying degrees:
    1. (a) For institute-sponsored seats: Four or more years of Bachelor’s Degree completed on or before 2027.
    2. (b) For self-sponsored seats: Three years of Bachelor’s degree completed on or before 2027, or four or more years of Bachelor’s degree completed on or before 2027.
    3. Professional Diploma in Design: 10+2+4 years (minimum four-year diploma program).
    4. GD Art (4-year program after 1-year foundation. Minimum entry requirement: 10th pass). Additionally, one year of professional experience in design areas is required.
    5. Master’s Degree.
    6. Or an equivalent degree as decided by IIT Jodhpur.

    IIT Kanpur MDes Admission

    • Candidates must have a B.Tech/ B.E. degree (4-year program), Design or Architecture with a minimum mark of 55% marks/ 5.5 (on a 10-point scale) as long as it is not less than the minimum pass marks/CPI in their graduate degree.
    • Those candidates who are currently in the final year of the qualifying exam can also apply for the entrance test. However, admission will be kept on hold until the candidates submit proof of minimum qualification by the last week of September in the year of admission.
    • The admission will be cancelled if candidates fail to complete the final exam of the qualifying exam at the time of admission, or if the documents are not submitted by the date.
    • Candidates who have a degree in Fine Arts or Interior Design are not eligible for the entrance exam.
    • There is no age limit prescribed by the authority

    IIT Roorkee MDes Admission

    • Candidates of General, GEN-EWS and OBC category must have secured at least 60% marks or CGPA of 6.00 on a 10-point scale at the qualifying degree level
    • Candidates of SC/ST/PD category must have secured 55% or 5.50 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
    • The marks awarded for the qualifying degree will be considered for eligibility.

    IIITDM Jabalpur MDes Admission

    • Pass the All India Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED), conducted by IIT Bombay Or GATE examination.
    • CEED Eligibility: Candidates must have completed a degree/diploma/post graduate degree programme of a minimum of 3 years (after 10+2 level), or
    • Must be appearing for the final examination of such a programme by July 2027, or
    • Must have passed the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level) by July 2027.

    IIITDM Kancheepuram MDes Admission

    • The candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Design/Architecture (under 10+2+4 yrs regular) from a recognized Institute/University with a valid CEED score.
    • In the qualifying degree, the candidates should have passed and secured a minimum of 60% marks (55% marks in case of SC/ST/PwD) or equivalent grades in the qualifying degree.

    • Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)/ Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech) or equivalent degree in any discipline (with a valid GATE/CAT or CEED score).
    • Candidates must have a Bachelor of Design (BDes with valid CEED) / Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) (with valid GATE or CEED) and hold a valid GATE score as on the admission date
    • Candidates who are in the final years of the qualifying exam can also apply for admission to IISC Bengaluru MDes, but they have to produce proof of passing at the time of admission.

    • Educational Qualification: Graduation degree (4years or more) in Design (B.Des), Architecture (B.Arch), Fine Arts (B.F.A/B.V.A), Engineering (B.E), or Technology (B.Tech) from a recognised institution.
    • Minimum Passing Marks: 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (50% marks or equivalent for SC/ST/PWD categories).
    • Valid CEED score

    IISC Bangalore

    The postgraduate programme MDes is offered at IISC Bangalore. Candidates need to register and submit the application form. Selection is based on GATE/CEED score 70% + 30% performance in the interview.

    Mahindra University, Hyderabad

    The Mahindra University offers postgraduate programmes for aspirants to pursue. The admissions are based on the scores of written tests conducted by the university or the national entrance examinations. CEED scores are also accepted.

    Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design & Technology, Bengaluru

    • Must have completed an undergraduate degree of 3 years + a one-year Postgraduate Diploma Program (PGDP) from a recognized national or international university.

    Jain University offers PG programmes as MDes across various disciplines for 2 years duration. Selection is based on the entrance exam, Jain Entrance Test (JET)/CEED scores, and portfolio/personal interview.

    • Candidates with a valid CEED 2027 score are eligible to apply.
    • For those who missed appearing for CEED 2027, it is mandatory to write VITMEE 2027. Selection is based on the score obtained either in the VIT Masters Entrance Examination (VITMEE) or the Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED).
    • Candidates appearing for their final degree exam / final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.
    • The candidates should produce the statement of final year marks and Provisional Degree Certificate before the admission date that will be prescribed by the institute. Failing to produce the essential documents, admissions will be cancelled.
    • The applicant for admission should be a Resident Indian National and should have graduated from institutions located in India.
    • Foreign and NRI / PIO candidates must apply separately. For more details, candidates should visit the International Relations tab on the VIT website.
    • A full-time degree (10+2+4 or 5 years) from any recognized University/Institute in any Engineering, Science, Applied Arts*, Architecture or Design degree with a minimum aggregate of 60% or first class alone is eligible to apply.
