DPU AIDAT Exam 2026: Registration Open, Exam Date (April 19), Pattern, Eligibility, Syllabus

Aspirants willing to take admission to the design programmes need to check the DPU AIDAT eligibility criteria 2026.  Candidates can check the DPU AIDAT 2026 eligibility criteria which is as follows.

• Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 from any discipline and from a recognized university or board with a minimum of 50% .

• Candidates appearing for 10+2 may also apply.

Dr. D.Y.Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune released the DPU AIDAT 2026 application form on September 22, 2025. The applicants need to begin with DPU AIDAT registration 2026. After successful registration, the candidates will be allotted username and password to use as the login credentials. The applicants need to login to fill and submit the DPU AIDAT application form 2026 before the deadline. The DPU AIDAT application last date is February 28, 2026.

Process to fill the DPU AIDAT application form is as follows.

• Visit the official website - schoolofdesign.dpu.edu.in.

• Click on register and fill the mandatory fields.

• Candidates to verify your Email Id.

• Complete the DPU AIDAT application form

• Upload all Documents required.

• Pay Application Fee

• Submit and take a printout of the completed application form for future use.

DPU AIDAT Application Fee Mode

Candidates during the application process need to make payment of application fee of Rs.1500/-. The application fee can be paid through  Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking / UPI / NEFT / RTGS / IMPS. 

Note: Application fee is Non-Refundable.

Dr. D. Y. Patil University will issue the DPU AIDAT admit card before one week of the commencement of the entrance examination. Candidates need to login using the login credentials and download the DPU AIDAT admit card 2026. The DPU AIDAT admit card release date will be made available at the website -  dpu.edu.in by the authorities as per the schedule. Students must take coloured and clear print of the admit card for the verification during online DPU AIDAT.

• Check all details and click on the download button

• Once downloaded, take a colour and clear print of the DPU AIDAT admit card for online verification and further process.

Important Instructions for DPU AIDAT 

The applicants who are appearing for the DPU AIDAT 2026 online proctored exam must be aware of certain rules to avoid the cancellation of admission. Provided below are the important instructions to be followed for the DPU AIDAT exam 2026.

• DPU All India Design Aptitude Test will be conducted as an Online Proctored Test. 

• Candidates must be seated at least 15 minutes prior to the DPU AIDAT is scheduled.

• Candidates must ensure that the system is on, duly charged, high bandwidth internet connection and the camera is in working condition throughout the DPU AIDAT Test hours.

• Total duration of the All India Design Aptitude Test will be 90 minutes.

• Candidates must ensure all the necessary material is readily available. 

• Candidates must not speak or call for assistance during the Test.

• Candidates must keep ready, their admit card, Aadhar Card / Driving Licence as ID proof, if asked for verification at any time during the test.

• Candidates should be seated in an isolated room without any disturbance during the test. Once the candidates are given access, they will not be allowed to leave their seat till the test is over and submitted.

• Avoid using calculators, digital watches during the test, as they are strictly not allowed.

• If any candidate is found using them, they will be disqualified without any further warning. 

• Use of Geometry box or Scale are also strictly not allowed during the test assignment.

• For any query related to technical errors, downloading admit cards, forgetting username or password, etc., candidates should connect with the DPU counsellor immediately (the details of counsellor will be made available in the official brochure).

The authorities will declare the DPU AIDAT 2026 result tentatively in May. The DPU AIDAT results will be made available online at the official website and will also be sent to the candidate’s registered email Id. The students need to login using the login credentials to check and download the DPU AIDAT 2026 results.

• The DPU AIDAT results will be displayed on the screen

• Click on the download button

• Take a print out of the downloaded DPU AIDAT 2026 results for further process

The DPU AIDAT selection process includes the entrance exam, studio test and personal interview. After the commencement of the online proctored exam of DPU AIDAT, the authorities will declare the results online. The DPU design admission is based on the scores of DPU AIDAT 2026 exam. The qualified students list will be uploaded on to the official website according to the schedule. The shortlisted candidates need to appear for the studio test followed by a personal interview, for which the schedule is yet to be released.

Candidates are advised to carry their portfolio and the academic qualification certificates that will be verified by the committee during the selection process. The list of the documents to be carried are as follows.
