DPU AIDAT Exam 2026: Registration Open, Exam Date (April 19), Pattern, Eligibility, Syllabus

The DPU AIDAT 2026 studio test and personal interview were conducted from May 15 - 16, 2026. All shortlisted candidates from the DPU IDAT exam are eligible for the studio test and personal interview. DPU authorities conducted the B.Des studio test and personal interview from May 15 – 16, 2026. For M.Des students, authorities conducted the studio test and personal interview on May 16, 2026. The evaluation process was conducted based on candidates' creative skills, design knowledge, and sketch assignment. On the same day, candidates will have to appear for a personal interview along with their portfolio and relevant creative work.

Candidates were advised to carry their portfolio and the academic qualification certificates that would be verified by the committee during the selection process. The list of documents to be carried is as follows:

• Class 10 marksheet
• Class 12 marksheet
• DPU AIDAT admit card
• DPU AIDAT result copy
• Candidate’s portfolio
• Candidates’ valid photo ID proof in original
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Disability certificate (if applicable)

Aspirants willing to take admission to the design programmes need to check the DPU AIDAT eligibility criteria 2026.  Candidates can check the DPU AIDAT 2026 eligibility criteria which is as follows.

• Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 from any discipline and from a recognized university or board with a minimum of 50% .

• Candidates appearing for 10+2 may also apply.

Dr. D.Y.Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, has closed the DPU AIDAT 2026 application form on April 13. 2026 on its official website. Authorities have released the DPU AIDAT 2026 application form on September 22, 2025. The applicants had to log in to fill out and submit the DPU AIDAT application form 2026 before the deadline.

The process to fill the DPU AIDAT application form is as follows.

• Visit the official website - schoolofdesign.dpu.edu.in.

• Click on register and fill in the mandatory fields.

• Candidates to verify your Email ID.

• Complete the DPU AIDAT application form

• Upload all Documents required.

• Pay Application Fee

• Submit and take a printout of the completed application form for future use.

Candidates during the application process need to make a payment of the application fee of Rs. 1500/-. The application fee can be paid through  Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking / UPI / NEFT / RTGS / IMPS.

Dr D. Y. Patil University had issued the DPU AIDAT admit card on April 8, 2026. Candidates had to log in using their login credentials and download the DPU AIDAT admit card 2026. The DPU AIDAT admit card release date will be made available at the website -  dpu.edu.in by the authorities as per the schedule. Students must take a coloured and clear print of the admit card for verification during online DPU AIDAT.

Important Instructions for DPU AIDAT 

The applicants who are appearing for the DPU AIDAT 2026 online proctored exam must be aware of certain rules to avoid the cancellation of admission. Provided below are the important instructions to be followed for the DPU AIDAT exam 2026.

• DPU All India Design Aptitude Test will be conducted as an Online Proctored Test. 

• Candidates must be seated at least 15 minutes before the DPU AIDAT is scheduled.

• Candidates must ensure that the system is on, duly charged, high bandwidth internet connection, and the camera is in working condition throughout the DPU AIDAT Test hours.

• The total duration of the All India Design Aptitude Test will be 90 minutes.

• Candidates must ensure all the necessary material is readily available. 

• Candidates must not speak or call for assistance during the Test.

• Candidates must keep ready their admit card, Aadhar Card / Driving Licence as ID proof, if asked for verification at any time during the test.

• Candidates should be seated in an isolated room without any disturbance during the test. Once the candidates are given access, they will not be allowed to leave their seats until the test is over and submitted.

• Avoid using calculators and digital watches during the test, as they are strictly not allowed.

• If any candidate is found using them, they will be disqualified without any further warning. 

• Use of the Geometry box or Scale are also strictly not allowed during the test assignment.

• For any query related to technical errors, downloading admit cards, forgetting username or password, etc., candidates should connect with the DPU counsellor immediately (the details of the counsellor will be made available in the official brochure).

The authorities have declared the DPU AIDAT 2026 merit list on May 21, 2026, on their official website. The DPU AIDAT results will be made available online at the official website and will also be sent to the candidate’s registered email ID. The students need to log in using their login credentials to check and download the DPU AIDAT 2026 results.
