Hi, I have a question related to the SC caste certificate. Can I upload the scanned pdf of my original certificate or do I need to download their online caste certificate format and get it signed by the listed authority?

Shagufa Zareen Student Expert 27th Oct, 2019

Hello Aspirant,

If they are providing the format of which the SC certificate must be uploaded including the sign and verification seal then you must have to take the print out and go to the respective authority to whom you have got the certificate. And after signing you can submit it.

Good luck

Hello,

As per the eligibility criteria for UCEED 2020,  candidates who appeared in the qualifying exam in 2018 or before are not eligible to apply for UCEED 2020.

Only those  who have either passed the class XII or any other relevant qualifying exam either in 2019 or 2020 are eligible to  appear in UCEED exam, candidates from any streams are eligible.

Sorry to inform you, but as you stated you've passed 12th in 2018, so you're not eligible.

UCEED has given the formats of certificates to be uploaded in english and i have the certificates with correct formats but in hindi. So should I upload them up?

Apurva anand 10th Oct, 2019

Hello Aastha, if it has been told to upload the certificates in hindi, then there is no point of uploading in hindi. Because later that would be rejected and you would be asked to upload the certificate in english. You should get your certificate converted in english officially and then upload it. You can do that by either asking the authority to provide you with an official english certificate or convert the certificate in english yourself and then get it verified from the court/notary public.

uceed obc ncl certificate format and central caste certificate are same?

Ayush 16th Nov, 2020

Hi Candidate,

Caste and category plays a very important role in college counselling rounds and Admission in various streams available based on specific reservation criteria for the students. The reservation is provided in all Government Colleges.

If you talk about Caste Certificate and OBC certificate, both are categorised for specific reservation but they are of different formats as specified in the Examination Guidelines. Moreover, the institutions demand a renewed caste certificate for admission, so your Certificate must be of the prescribed format.

ALL The Best.
