ADAT 2024 Exam: Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Fees, Registration Process, Result, Selection Process

After the personal interview, the authority released the selection list for the 2024-25 session, wherein the names of qualified candidates were mentioned. This list is prepared at the end of every admission cycle. The admission offer letter is issued to qualified candidates on a specified date, after April 22 and 23, 2024. If a candidate is disqualified, they are informed about their weak points and given time to work on them.

Here’s the admission process for ADYPU 2024-25:

• Check the Eligibility

• Apply Online by April 6, 2024

• Pay application fee

• Complete the Admission Form

• Submit Form

• Appear for personal interview from  April 22 to April 23, 2024 onwards

• Receive Admission Offer

• Acceptance of Admission Form

• Check the Final Merit List on April 25, 2024

The eligibility criteria of the ADYPU Design Aptitude Test 2024 specify the academic qualifications that candidates must fulfill to appear for the ADAT 2024.

Candidates must have passed their 12th class in any discipline (Science, Commerce, or Arts) or have a 3-year full-time diploma. This remains unchanged from the previous year.

Candidates must also meet the specific eligibility criteria for the programs they wish to apply for, as given in the table below. The programs are offered by the School of Design under ADYPU. Candidates must also appear for the ADAT entrance exam, which consists of a prelims exam, a campus studio test, and a personal interview.

The Phase 2 application form for the ADAT entrance test for the 2024-25 session was available online until April 6. The ADYPU Design Aptitude Test application fee is Rs. 2000, which is non-refundable. Payment can be made through a demand draft in favor of “Registrar, ADYPU”, payable at Pune.

The demand draft should be accompanied by an admission form and submitted online. Candidates seeking to appear for the entrance test can follow the steps below to fill out the ADAT 2024 application form:

• Step 1 – Candidates have to click on the registration link. 

• Step 2 – Fill in the personal details, such as candidate’s name, father’s or mother’s name, address, mobile number, date of birth, email, gender, nationality, and choice of course. 

• Step 3 – Candidates have to fill in the academic record such as examination passed or appeared, name of the school or college, board, and year of passing or appearance. 

• Step 4 – Upload your picture and payment receipt/scan copy of DD/cheque (maximum 96dpi in resolution), and mention the date and place. 

• Step 5 – Tick on ‘I Accept’ and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

The exam primarily consists of multiple-choice questions that test various aspects of a candidate’s design aptitude. The total marks for the exam are expected to be 100, providing a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s abilities.

The duration of the ADAT exam was for 3 hours. Candidates have the flexibility to take the exam in either online or offline mode. This ensures that all candidates, regardless of their geographical location or access to resources, have an equal opportunity to appear for the exam.

It’s important for candidates to familiarise themselves with this exam pattern well in advance of the test date. This will help them understand what to expect on the day of the exam and plan their time management strategies accordingly.

Ajeenkya D Y Patil University (ADYPU) issued the admit card for ADAT 2024 in online mode. Candidates could download their ADAT 2024 admit card by visiting the received link on their registered email id.

Here’s how to download the ADYPU DAT 2024 admit card:

• Login to your registered email id.

• Find the received link to the ADAT 2024-25 admit card.

• Then, click the download admit card button.

• It will automatically download in pdf format.

• Take a printout of the ADAT 2024-25 hall ticket for your future use.

Ajeenkya D.Y. Patil University (ADYPU) declared the ADAT 2024 final result phase 2 on April 25, 2024, in online mode. Candidates could check their ADAT qualifier status by entering their first name. The result will be sent to the candidate’s registered mail ID. The ADAT exam result was announced in the form of a merit list.

Also, candidates could check their ADAT entrance exam results at adypu.edu.in. To check the result, students have to enter their valid application number and date of birth.

Here are the steps to check the ADAT 2024 result:

• Visit the official website.

• Find and click on "ADAT Result 2024-25”.

• Next, enter your application number and date of birth.

• The ADYPU Design Aptitude Test result will appear on the screen.

• Take a printout of it for your future use.

The Ajeenkya D.Y. Patil University (ADYPU) conducted the personal interview for the 2024 session for phase 2 on April 22 and 23. The main objective of the interview is to assess the candidate’s passion and commitment to the chosen course. There is no specific preparation required for this interview; however, candidates might be asked to perform some small tasks.
