UCEED Full Form
The full form of UCEED is the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design. Indian Institute of Technology Bombay conducts UCEED every year for providing admission to BDes programme in the IITs. Aspirants planning to get admitted to the BDes course at IITs have to appear for UCEED and get qualified in it.

UCEED Eligibility Criteria 2025
There are certain conditions and requirements that students are required to meet to be eligible for UCEED 2025. The authorities will release the UCEED exam 2025 eligibility criteria along with the brochure.
UCEED Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Criterion 1 – Age limit:
The candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 2000, if belonging to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category and born on or after October 1, 2995, if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category.
Criterion 2 – Number of attempts:
A candidate can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times, and that too in consecutive years. Note that the UCEED score is valid for one year and only for admissions in the same corresponding academic year.
Criterion 3 – Qualifying examination:
The candidate should have passed all subjects in the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2024 OR should be appearing for the qualifying examination for the first time in 2024 to be eligible for attempting UCEED 2025. Students from ALL STREAMS (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible. Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination (Class XII) in 2022 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in UCEED 2025.
UCEED Application 2025
The UCEED application form 2025 will be released tentatively in October 2024. Applicants will be able to fill the UCEED application online at uceed.iitb.ac.in. The UCEED 2025 application last date will be released in the official notification. Candidates willing to register for the UCEED 2025 process need to fill in required details, upload necessary documents, and pay the UCEED registration fee 2025 online using a credit card/ a debit card/net banking. The applicants have to check the UCEED 2025 eligibility criteria before applying.

The part A of the exam is used for UCEED 2025 cutoff and used to shortlist the candidates for part B. UCEED Counselling 2025
The candidates appearing for the UCEED 2025 entrance exam must separetely apply to the institutions or colleges into which they need admission. The UCEED 2025 counselling will be conducted in offline mode. As the participating institutions are different, hence the authorities will not be able to conduct the UCEED 2025 counselling as usual. As the UCEED cutoff 2025 varies for different institutions, the candidates need to make their choice of selecting the participating institutions listed by the authorities.

IIT Bombay released the UCEED cutoff 2024 on February 8 in the form of mean and standard deviation. The mean and standard deviation for UCEED 2024 cutoff for Part A are 43.91 and 23.03 respectively.

NID->National Institute of Design
Conducted by-> National Institute of Design Ahmedabad
NID Design Aptitude Test is conducted for admission in the prestigious National Institute Design (NID) campuses in Bachelors of Design (B. Des)course.

In India, there are many coaching programmes accessible, however in my opinion, creativity doesn't really blossom in a coaching programme.
The secret to passing NID, NIFT, and CEED is creativity; you may do this without depending on coaching sessions. I would advise going on a tour or travelling instead of paying hefty fees to teaching centres. If not, simply take in your surroundings. Every morning, take a stroll and study the textures and patterns of the surroundings. Try to observe and see things from your perspective wherever you go. Try to consider and analyse the issues!
