Hi Rajesh.
The only way to get admission into an IIT to study for B.Des is through CEED. IITs won't accept you for that course because of the reason that you have experience in that field. It will help you in the placements. You are eligible to write CEED.
Good Luck.

Hi ,
There are some institute which provide CEED training in Chennai as listed below-
Hope this helps. All the best!!
As far as I understood is you’re going to do bachelors of 3 years because you’re already doing diploma, it’s basically lateral entry for your further studies, so coming to your question, Candidates must have passed a degree/diploma/postgraduate degree of 4 years or 3+2 years (after 10+2 level).
Yes, you’re eligible, if your confusion persists, do reply again..!!
Thanks for the quick response Prabhavati.
They have given that "Candidates having a CEED 2018 score of +> 75 and a minimum CGPA of 8.5 on a 10 point scale or 75% mark (70% for SC/ST candidates) will be eligible for direct admissions."
My score is 34.59 and I fall into the ST category, My Rank is 47. Will I get direct admission? If not what is the process ?
That would be All India rank only. They will specially specify if it is the category rank.
