Hey Jigna.

Yes, you are eligible to take CEED. The Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is a joint entrance exam for post-graduate studies in the field of technological design held annually jointly at all IITs and Indian Institute of Science (IISc). The examination is hosted by the Industrial Design Centre, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay on behalf of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It is a descriptive test covering a student's logical, creative, observation and drawing skills, tested in particular for admission to various design courses in the fields of product design, industrial design, visual communication, animation graphics, vehicle design and mobility.

Following link will help you get the eligibility criteria for CEED.

I doing B tech(3 year) after completing Diploma (3 years) can I applicable for the examination?

Rahul Singh 13th Mar, 2018

As far as I understood is you’re going to do bachelors of 3 years because you’re already doing diploma, it’s basically lateral entry for your further studies, so coming to your question, Candidates must have passed a degree/diploma/postgraduate degree of 4 years or 3+2 years (after 10+2 level).

Yes, you’re eligible, if your confusion persists, do reply again..!!

Admission form for MDes via CEED dates please.

Akshay Nayak 9th Mar, 2018

Thanks for the quick response Prabhavati.

They have given that "Candidates having a CEED 2018 score of +> 75 and a minimum CGPA of 8.5 on a 10 point scale or 75% mark (70% for SC/ST candidates) will be eligible for direct admissions."

My score is 34.59 and I fall into the ST category, My Rank is 47.
Will I get direct admission? If not what is the process ?

The rank displayed in the score card is i Category Rank or AIR for CEED?

Prabhavati Dhavala 8th Mar, 2018

That would be All India rank only. They will specially specify if it is the category rank.

Im a nios student... Am I eligible for centac.?

Prabhavati Dhavala 26th Feb, 2018

Yes, you should be eligible as the eligibility specifies that you should pass any exam that is equivalent to 10+2 of Tamilnadu and NIOS is. So yes, you should be eligible. However pls check for Puducherry seats and other state ones as domicile status is a major requirement for Puducherry sets.
