DAIICT Design Aptitude Test
While DAIICT is a good place, and has this strength that you join an IT program where you could choose to do more CS or more ECE through electives and the core program gives you explosure to both CS and ECE, I think it is not correct to say that the industry including industry giants like google and facebook are looking for that combination. That mix has its niche and is an attractive and important niche today, but the industry is too big and can accommodate all types. And indeed Google and Facebooks of the world hire more CS people than IT/ECE people (though that is not a reflection on whether they would prefer IT/ECE people, may be they hire CS people because others are not available in as much abundance).
And hence I would suggest that people should consider whether they are genuinly interested in that niche area, or would they rather study a regular CSE or a regular ECE program. And if you will consider a regular CS program, there is no doubt in my mind that one should prefer IIITH and IIITD over other institutes focussed on IT areas.
Hello aspirant
hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query, I would glad inform you that their is no type of home state quota reservation in seats of daiict . For general candidate students DAIICT All India cut off rank in 2017 is around 15835 to 15883. You need to score more than 175 marks(varies every year due to variation in difficulty level of exam) in your exam in order to get this college
Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future

Hey there,
Hope you are doing great.
As you have to compare between Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of education (B.Tech and M.tech Information Technology ) and Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of information and technology (B.tech in Information and communication). IPG Course has lower fees compared to the other one. Check the student reviews and the median packages below.

Please provide me your overall rank and category.
Hello there, aspirant.
DAIICT is one of the best colleges in the country. Based on prior year's patterns, your rank must be in the range of 10-15k, or 99-98 percentile. Students with a rank of less than 5000 are eligible for a scholarship. Check out the college predictor link below for more information on which universities you might be eligible for:

I hope this information is useful.

Hi,
First, DAIICT doesn't provide any such course it provides ICT with Computational Science and it's not Computer science. There is no CSE degree offered at DAIICT. There’s ICT and ICT with minor in CS under BTech courses.
DA-IICT is a better choice in my opinion and the reasons are as follows.
However, at the NITs, you have to study Physics and Chemistry again and subjects like Engineering Drawing that have no relevance with Computer Science as the first year are common amongst all branches.
Only the top three NITs- NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, and NIT Surathkal are better than DA-IICT.
Hope this helps.
All the Best.
